How to release 5 scripts a day?

How to be awesome?

Errm, i guess what i like most is your scripts run almost indefinetly, so a failsafe/recovery guide/tips that you've picked up?

I'm sure theres a load of functions in SRL i dont even know about, some kind of list of the more advanced/less frequently used functions, and more inportantly, what you have used them for to good effect, (i know the documentation lists stuff like this but its not very user friendly and takes forever to go through)

A video tutorial for TPAs would be super :)

I second what Danny said, maybe just a blackbook of tips and tricks you use that create long lasting scripts :)

You could do an up to date walking tutorial highlighting the best methods and best methods for certain areas such as dungeons, wilderness, land etc.

This would be very usefull :)

Multi-Page Forms. I know how to do it already but there are no tutorials for others and I doubt anyone wants to look through MSI's code.

TuT on effective debugging in Simba and WaitFunc would be 100% helpful for me. If you do something that hasn't been made into a tutorial already (please not another DTM, TPA or basic Simba TuT!!! :p) that would be really cool..

Shay It's easy just google it ;)

The logic tips and tricks to 6+ hour scripts would be good. Also probably the best one would be the TPA walking tutorial.

BraK, your looking a bit green there, go home, you're drunk :garfield:

Lol, I say something unprogramming language related. Play any instrument?

(Is there a section for TuT's not related to programming?)

Please, no video. Videos are the worst, the viewer can't set the pace. If the viewer wishes to go faster than you are presenting the material, he or she can't. If the viewer wants to go through the material at a slower pace, he or she cannot. Text + images is a much better tutorial method for scripting (which is all about text and images anyway).

YoHoJo's videos aren't the worst, They're really good for someone starting out. Sure, maybe for advanced things videos aren't the best, but they really do help at the start. Perhaps the problem was you were watching a video tutorial after you were already really good at scripting.
