Has anybody tried skilling with the use of the action bar yet? I used it for bone burying and high alching the other night and it was insanely quick. Thinking about making my new(updated) scripts using this method.
But would it be feasible for people to link say high alch to one of their buttons or have most people filled them up with combat related things?
Does mining count as skilling? My PowerMiner uses the action bar to drop ores.
And yeah, completely feasible.
any skill that isn't combat is considered skilling. As in woodcutting, mining, fletching, crafting, fishing, etc etc.
Using the action bar to drop ores is almost exactly what I was thinking along the lines of.

No, the action bar isn't just for abilities and Jagex knows it, they even launched a few videos of youtubers explaining how to use the action bar to get better exp/h. So it's completely normal, I have been using it with a magic script and the enchants per hour are insanely high
Yeah it seems really useful to use in the spare game ticks. However, burying bones ?? :D

Ive been power mining for a week gone from 70-91 imagine all that time wasted dropping ores would only be like 80 by now

too bad you can't use the bar for dropping willows
Hopefully jagex makes it fully customizable like people on the forums are suggesting :)

I used the action bar to superheat gold ores. Increased smithing exp/hr from 110k to 132k and magic exp/hr from 100k to 120k. It is a great benefit in skilling, even when dropping in mass. For example, fishing does not get interrupted when dropping fish via the action bar. The animation stops; however, the fish are still caught. Allowing for a catch one, drop one method. I'm pretty sure this is also true for woodcutting or mining.
Flight has added the action bar into his Barbarian Fly Fisher script. I know it has increased the exp/hr output of that script.
The only downside is that the new "make x" system implemented with the action bar destroyed herblore. Herbs cannot be mass cleaned with mousekeys anymore, and potion creation rate has been reduced by nearly 50%. Pre EoC, unfiinished potions were made at 3k+ an hour; now, it maxes out at around 2k flat.
