We don't encourage that here, but when you got ddosed they may have used multiple zombie computers to help.

so u cant do it whit a single computer? or is their a way to do it? like ping flood or something

There are multiple computers to do a DDoS.
You can use a botnet to inflict a huge one(A botnet is a group of computers inflicted with a virus so the owner of said virus can use them to DDoS)

They could have also purchased a Dedicated Server, split it up into VPS's, and DDoS with that(I know people who've done that)

Finally, it could just be a group of people that don't like you.

Lesson: Don't argue on the internet if the person you're arguing with isn't stupid.(Exceptions, of course)

Doing it with a single computer could be like throwing pebbles at a concrete wall. No one is going to tell you how to do it here, so if you are looking for a guide, you'll have to keep looking.

well i just made my ping flood but its not strong enough only sending 1459 packages

its done by using a botnet… … infected Devices send a few packets of data at the site in order to overwhelm it.
an annalogy is like the use of ants, 1 massive ant does jack all, lots of ants can overwhelm a large mammal easily even if a few dont make it and get squished.

and please dont ask how to obtain a botnet as it violates several international laws.

But imagine lots of massive ants. That would be cool, from a fps point of view.

And yeah, OP, I would suggest that you forget your plan of DDos'ing someone. Bad idea tbh.

Used to do it before (to my own router).. Well when LOIC source-code was popular (doubt anyone still uses that). It's written in C# IIRC. Anonymous uses HOIC.

Low orbit ion cannon and High orbit ion cannon respectfully. You're going to have to go on your own from there. Good luck because when the FBI or RCMP come bashing down your door.. well.. You won't be seeing daylight for a year or two depending on what your using it for.

Ping flooding with one comp isn't going to help you. Botnets is obviously the best way but meh.. You'd have to write a virus first and spread it and yeah.. That's going to get you in a lot of shit if you get caught.

Moral of the story, don't bother at all. You're wasting your time and bandwidth and other's bandwidth as well.. Oh and don't forget how much time you're going to waste even setting up something like that. Stay away from internet bullying lol.

Basically, illegal, don't do it. But, theoretically, it is possible to do it with a single computer. Someone out there ;) has probably done it before.

But like Hobbit said, it won't have much of an effect. You need it in masses to do some damage.

I mean if you had access to a super computer cluster you could probably dispatch jobs to all of the nodes and its technically a "single" computing unit. But I'm guessing you don't have access to one of those, that and you would be locked out extremely quickly.

I think this conversation needs to stop… this forum doesn't really want to be related to DDoS'ing and other related things…

^ This, we are a friendly programming community, not hackers(or atleast not in that way), not malware writers,

We dont pursue things that are intended on attacking others, if you dont know how to do it, dont do it, because you WILL end up going to jail

I doubt this kid even has the IP of the ddoser, even if he did hes prob's using a VPN.
Second off, if you keep getting ddosed THEN CHANGE YOUR DAMN IP. No easy way to say it, but derp derp unplug router+replug bam, no more ddos attacks until someone gets your no ip, (don't visit any sketchy websites)..
