PKing setups?

Hey guys, I haven't played RS for a while but want to get back into it. I have two accounts to PK with:

1. 99att 99str 75def 70prayer 70range 94mage
1. 79att 77str 75def 52prayer 99range 94mage

I'm thinking of PKing on account 2.

What would be the best gear and strategies for range pking, hybriding, and straight up melee with veng? I've looked around on youtube but don't recognise any of the gear they are using lol.

Yes, turn the second account into a tank or max out either one :tongue:

You need to consider the new system for Runescape. Currently there is no predetermined stats gear as the system is so new.

I would recommend what xtrapsp has said and max def.

I have a maxed account, and honestly I love the pking on it now. I wear ganodermic with dual chaotic longswords or a chatoic maul. I swap between wand and dragonfire shield(mage) using fire wave. I only become in trouble when someone with Karil's(now one of the best sets for pking) comes along and wrecks the crap out of me XD

keep in mind that BOTH of the account will have the EXACT same combat level. Therefore choosing the second over the first seems asinine.

How is combat calculated? I didn't know they'd be the same combat. Account 1 has 96hp and 2 has 91hp, I forgot to mention.

Could someone give me a run down on the best gear and swords etc now? I played when Godswords were the best so I don't know anything about what I'm coming up against lol.

Combat is now calculated based off your defense and highest combat stat only.
"The formula for working out one's combat level is: X + Defence + 2, where X is the highest out of Attack, Strength, Magic, Summoning or Ranged."

Since EoC came out everything is still very experimental. I'd try looking through runescape.wikia.com and watching youtube videos. Ability's totally changes pking.

At least in EoC, I like the fact that Magic is much more balanced at ALL level brackets than it was before compared to Melee. The same applies to Ranged
