Why is this place, kinda dead...

This seems to be one of (if not the) the best runescape bots up right now. I'v tried epicbot and it pretty much sucks. Simba seems reliable and it at least seems like it would be hard to get banned for using since its color. It would follow that It would have a larger following, but it looks like most of the scripters have quit or left, and there aren't that many people here at all. Whats up?

Not really dead, just saying. Lots of people are active here.

We aim to blend in with the legit RS community.

Most of them chill in a secret section with IM possibilities.

The large crowed is drawn to money. After they killed reflection, all the users from the other communities came here, because we still functioned. We used reflection, but our bot did not rely on reflection alone. Then when those bots came back people left again. The reason is that it's "easier" to program for those bots. Those bots also have paid developers and are okay with the molestation of the RS economy. We do not support gold farming, we do not support mass botting. We are about the challenge and blending into the game. This is not a business to us, this is a love for the challenge and the people. But, apparently money means better. They seem to believe that they pay for something inherently makes it better.

Yeah, remember when NKN showed us some powerbot users who assumed JJ's GOP script was awful simply because it was free? Then the ones who actually tried it said it was great :D. I guess some people just don't recognize that the best [runescape scripts] in life are free :D

This is absolutely correct, I couldn't have worded it better myself and everything I wanted to comment on is brought up here. Enough said.

I am not afraid to call those types of persons pests. Their little toy broke so they came to the only reliable enough that worked and when the toy was repaired they left.
Well, I say, It's better that way. A good community definitely doesn't need people with those intentions at heart.

So, what scripts do you all use? It seems like most scripters are non active.

I r not dead!
Most of the scripts in the runescape scripts section that I have tried recently have worked. Is there one you want that we don't have? If it's f2p I may make it for you :)

+1!
Also, no, most scripters aren't dead. This is our hobby, so our life comes before anything else. We don't get paid to script, like many of the other client scripters do.
I, for one, work way too much at the moment to do any type of script or deving. Hence, why I'm
not around much never here.

Ashaman's scripts are great. Hell, no harm in learning some scripting yourself. Wider range of botting to what you need ;)

I actually anticipate doing this, but need to get college apps in and finish wrestling season before I have any free time. Also, I'll check out Ashamans scripts.
Also, thanks for the kind replies. I realize someone with 1 post coming in saying your forum is dead could have been taking the wrong way.

This is the best botting place you could ever ask for. :)

I am still active, although I don't exactly have too many scripts in the script section
I'd say this place is less active than those other communities purely because we ask the users to do a little bit of reading/learning.
You can't simply download client, pay for script, get GPz. We incorporate anti-leech in some scripts, we're a little bit harder to get up and running. But as long as you are literate these things really shouldn't be a huge problem.

There are a lot of people that come just for the scripts, but don't even want to read the instructions to set them up, post once that it doesn't work, and leave. Then there are those who figure out how to make the scrips work, and some even take it upon them selfs to write their own scripts. You will find a rather wide age bracket of those that are here, ranging from grade school to college to a wife and kids and a job. Hence life takes priority over spending time here.

one of the best botting communities you could ask for. everyone here is always willing to help as long you try it before you ask, don't simply say something doesn't work atleast see what the problem is and ask with knowledge. read tutorials aswell, this is a learning community.

Um, I don't exactly come here for RS as much as for hanging out with friends, talking and helping others, and programing in general. I don't know if anyone here would relate, but yea. The only reason I have scripts here are for you guys. I play RS maybe twice a week now…?
Yea…
