:fiery:Mounty's SuperHeat v1.0:fiery:

Overview
Simple script that uses superheat item at Daemonheim banker. I will be improving this script to support more ores and improve functionality in the future. Please leave feedback so i can improve the script.

The script has been rewritten, as of v1.0, to use TPAs instead of DTMS. There is also added support for players using coal bags (please leave feedback on this feature as it is untested). There is currently support for Steel, Mithril, Addy, Rune and Gold bars. More can be added on request.

Features
- Makes use of EoC hotkeys
- Supports Steel, Mithril, Addy, Rune and Gold bars
- Uses custom TPA to find banker
- Uses TPAs for finding items
- Included Antibans
- simple Progress Report

Setup
1. Fill in the player info section of the script and enter the type of bar you wish to make.
2. Make sure your player is standing next to the banker at Daemonheim.
3. Have the necessarily nature runes and fire runes/staff equipped (for best results use a fire staff).
4. Set the '0' hotkey to the superheat item spell
5. Make sure the ores you plan to use are in the top right slot of the bank, with coal in the slot to the left of these ores.
6. Run the script and watch for a couple mins to make sure its working properly.

Future Updates
- Support for more bar types
- More Antibans
- Banker failsafes
- Equipment checker
- Improved progress report

Changelog

v0.1 - Initial release
v0.3 - Fixed banker's TPA colour
v0.4 - Added Gold to BarType and some minor chnanges
v0.5 - Checks for ActionBar
v0.6 - Increased speed added failsafe features
v0.7 - Much faster heating procedure
v0.8 - Fixed iron ore withdraw error
v0.9 - Addy support and small banking fix
v1.0 - Complete rewrite using TPAs and coalbag support

Please leave any feedback, reports or suggestions for antibans below.

I was getting around 700 when i was doing mith. Would need to check that again though.

There is currently no support for coal bags, as ive never used them. I do intend to add this feature though in a week or so. That does sound rather high. Even with coal bags it is ridiculously fast. Would love to see a proggy of this. Doubt ill be able to compete with that.

Ah i see. That's really impressive, might have to train dung to get a coal bag.

I would say thats a great idea. They are pretty simple to make as there isnt much to them. There's just opening the bank and doing the spell really. Then just adding antibans and optimizing the script. If you make one upload it and ill test it out for you.

I've noticed with gold, it tends to leave 1-2 ore in the inventory.

If it leaves only 1, it starts a loop of Right clicking and searching for the 'Deposit all' option.

Seems to be running smoothly after 15 or so minutes :)

That's really high! I'm only getting 900/h. I could probably get that up past 1k easily but ill leave it for now. Want to PM me the code and ill check it out? Thanks. That makes this feel really slow… Ill have to do a bit of optimizing on the wait times. From a quick calc this gives 16k Smithing XP/h and 65k Magic XP/h.

were you using coal bags in yours?

it's about what methods your using
you need quick detection (dtm is slow) and ofc fast mouse movements
 MouseSpeed:= (SpeedOfMouse);

Thanks killer. I've got my mouse speed at 20, as i think higher looks ridiculous. Would ATPAs be faster than DTMs then? I still dont see how it can physically be much faster. Perhaps i could get it to 1.2k/h if i made it really precise but i cant see how 2k is possible without a coal bag.

I only got to 1.7k without coal bag. Adding support to coal bag and we will see what I get.
and to show you how dtms slow it down, temp change everything to cord clicking (mouse) with a high speed.

Appreciate it Cru1z1n. I'll give that a read over later and see what i can learn. Looks a massive script.

@ The Killer
I can see how the DTMs are slowing it down and sometimes causing miss clicks. I always planned on using ATPAs for the rocks and moving through an array for spell casting so that it didnt get stuck, just dont have the time right now. I dont really like the idea of just using coords (even with an uptext check).Ill try get it sorted next weekend and see what results i can get.

Just hit 2k/hr with steel with coalbag

Ah sorry i misunderstood. I dont think the DTMs will make that much of a difference as there is a certain amount of time you have to wait between castings. Just need to refine my waiting times.
I think you should release your script. It sounds really good. 2k/h is just amazing.

make it twice as fast? working ok but slow you can cask faster than it smelts and it holds like 1 or 2 smelts in memory or something makes it way faster anyways if you cast the next superheat before it finishes smelting previuse bar, makes the biggest difference on gold were 1 ore makes 1 bar

westkevin12

2012-12-03 23:44:18

mounty's on gold change line 399 and 400 to
Mouse(695,450,10,10,true);
wait(200+random(75));
makes it alot smoother way faster and does every ore every time also change the ending repeat loop to
until false
so it don't stop so soon. runs great!

mounty

2012-12-04 12:33:17

I will be doing this once i change to ATPAs as it will be easy to switch between the selected ores. However, im not sure how to do this for DTMs, as FindDTM will always shw the first in order. So im afraid i wont be able to implement this until the weekend.

Thanks for the suggestion though. Check back on Sunday and the new release should be up with a faster procedure.

Edit: didnt see that last post. Thanks for the advice. Ill add that in to the script.

Thanks for the feedback.
v0.7 should work best.
Must be a problem with the DTMs. Do you have your client set up properly with highest brightness? If you could send me a pic of your coal and ore in your inv i can check my colours against your.

Ill be changing to ATPAs soon so shouldnt have this problem for much longer. If you know how to make DTMs you could simply make a new coal DTM or change the tolerance of the one i made.

I would suggest using the most recent version. If you have any problems report them here. Most problems will be to do with colour finding. you can easily fix them yourself by upping the tolerance or editing the DTMs.

From: pure_thief

You shouldnt need to do this for the latest version (v0.7) as it simply clicks on the last ore in your inv until there are no more (and should double check if there are any left and heat them too). Let me know if you have any problems with the latest release.

I just started to try this, but I instantly saw an problem when superheating steel bars. Sometimes it doesn't deposit 1 iron ore so instead of doing all steel bars, it makes an iron bar and 1 coal is left in the invy. After that it's all bad making a bunch of iron bars. Perhaps making sure that the script double checks to make sure that 1 iron is always deposited before withdrawing the coal for steel bars.

Thanks for the report. I've updated to v0.8. In this version i have added an extra check for the number or iron ore in the inv and made it so that it will deposit any iron bars which may have been made.

Please try the new release and let me know if there are any more problems.

If you want to use this script at the GE it would be fairly easy to make the required changes. You would simply need to change the colour it looks for when finding the banker. However, as the GE is so crowded i would imagine there would be many colour matches and a new procedure would need to be written for finding the banker. But again that would be fairly simple.

As for me i have no plans to change the location at this current time, sorry.
If you do give it a go, let us know how you get on with it and i could provide any help if you get stuck on anything.

Think this is because of the declaring of the bar type. I really should have put in a list of possible inputs. but then again i suppose it acts as an unintentional anti leach.

Anyway… Try declaring the BarType as 'mith' on line 17. (not 'mithril')

Let me know if that fixes the problem.

Good to hear. I'll be trying to get the speed up before version 1.0.

Now time for you all to help me :)

I've never use a coal bag so was looking for some guidance on how it is used.
Could someone please walk me through the process with me.

My main questions are:
1. When you withdraw 'all' coal from your bank, does it automatically fill the bag? or do you have to manually right click it and tell it to fill itself from the coal in the inv?

2. Does it use the coal from the coal bag first or as a last resort when smelting ores?

Think that's all i really need to know for now to get it running. I will also need some people to test the feature for me and report any bugs.

Thanks all. If you use the script and have a coal bag i would appreciate if you could help as it will help you in the long run. :)

You withdraw coal but you can deposit the coal into the coal bag while looking at the bank but it has to be in inventory. I also highly suggest you increase mouse speed for the script and I have a small bug which is when the bit starts it logs in and stands in front of banker then stops script but I start the script again and it's fine and I am not sure if it is a bug or just a regular thing. It is not a big problem but I just wanted to mention it. Really good job on your script so far and I am learning java right now.

It does it in the latest version too. I'm superheating gold ores but it seems to progressive go through each one (sometimes clicking on the ones it's already heated). It does heat the whole inventory, just might look a bit bottish with all the 'splash' casts.

I haven't changed any settings, so not sure why it's happening :(

Thanks herb an Alakaiz! Sound pretty simple to add this feature then. Alakaiz, not too sure whats going on there? how long does it run for before stopping in the first instance?

If you're getting a problem with it slowly moving through each ore in you inv, you probably has entered the wrong input for BarType. The possible string values are: 'steel', 'mith', 'addy' and 'gold' (all lower case).

Does changing the BarType to one of these fix the issue?

mounty

2012-12-13 11:34:28

Just realized there was a slight issue that may occur with the steel bar DTM. For some reason it wasn't finding them today. On the chance you encounter this issue simply edit the tolerance of the first and last point on the DTM.
ATPAs should be coming next week to eradicate such issues fro the script.

Happy botting!

It's not moving slow its moving fine but is it possible for me to change the mouse speed? When I start the script it basically logs in to the view of my character and then stops but when I start it again it's fine. The bar type is fine and I am impressed on the script. I can't wait for the coal bag to come out because it increases speed by a lot.

That stopping thing is very strange. Any errors reported in the debug when it happens?

There are a few points throughout the script where mouse speed is adjusted (probably bad scripting but ill tidy it up before 1.0). The best thing to do is run a search for 'mousespeed' in the script and change all the values a bit to your preference. You can PM me if you need more help on doing that.

I did change the values and I do enjoy the speed I am now and I have got nothing from the debug. I was just wondering if you could give an estimate on when the coal bag will be released. Also I am not sure if this was in the original post as I did not see it but you should put down as for the superheat hotkey it should be 0. Just in case people don't know which one at first, I just put it for each hotkey at first.

Coal bag support… possibly the weekend. If not second half of next week.

Thanks for the suggestion. Don't know why i didn't put that up before. I'll do it now.

Alright guys, I've written a bit of code for the coal bags but cant test it as i dont have one on any of my accounts. Looking for a few testers to give me feedback on the coal bag feature.

What i really need is use of an account with a coal bag to try and get the script working well. This wouldn't take long at all and would really be helpful.

If anyone wants to help withe either the testing or lending an account for the scripting please PM me.

Also has anyone got a quick way to train dung to 35 and an idea of how long it would take to do so?

I could test but I don't feel like lending my account out, I'm sorry.

Has anyone asked for Rune bars to be added? If so I'm pretty sure this would be awesome as I've got the money to 99 smithing in without always going to the grand exchange to sell and restock, would be very nice of you

Hey guys. sorry there has not been an update for a while, i've been busy for the fast few weeks. Here's whats happening with the script anyway.

I'm currently finishing off v1.0!
For v1.0 decided to start again from scratch using TPAs instead of DTMs.
So pretty much all of the script is brand new (except the FindBanker procedure and antibans).
Just running through some test and making sure there are no bugs.
There is currently support for steel, mith, addy, rune and gold.
Coal bags might work but im not entirely sure as its not tested.
Gonna add a short proggy.

Hopefully i will get to uploading the new version later today or tomorrow.

Thanks all

I am having a problem with the coal bag as it just keeps withdrawing coal. The script does not put the coal into the bag. I set the value as "True" is it suppose to be yes?

the rune bar feature doesn't work….it just says that no ore was found in my bank

some ideas, when you're heating gold don't spam '0' instead click it once ever 1250 ms and randomize with a +100 maybe? and also instead of moving your mouse in your inventory keep it on slot number 28, that will superheat everything in your inventory. and lastly your version 1.0 doesn't work, it will open the bank then close it repeatedly because it can't find the gold ore. just some tips :D

when making rune bars at least sometimes it tries to withdraw twice and then it deposits the extra one by one making it extremely slow. It would be faster if it just withdrew 3 so i tried that but it sometimes withdraws other things in my bank and still sometimes withdraws twice

and the script stops after one minute or so when it fails to open the bank once…I noticed that after a while it clicks on collect instead of bank and then the script immediately stops

opens the bank and immediately closes it. it stays on that loop
