Since …
The Animated Portable Network Graphics (APNG) file format is an unofficial extension to the Portable Network Graphics (PNG) specification.
Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/APNG

… I guess it will be if it start to be more official. :D (that's first time i heard about APNG at all :)
Some popular browser
IE - Not suported.
Chrome - Not supported.
Safari - not supported.
Opera - supports.
Firefox - supports.

EDIT: I just tested them though…

well, welcome to 6 years ago.. firefox and opera have supported it for many years

that's just one thing I hate about chrome, it also craps on memory, cpu, horrible with flash.. used to have youtube problems.. I can go on, but I just can't figure out why they'd use webkit…..

In other hand, maybe I have heard, but forgot about it.. I use to use firefox, but I switch to chrome, though I see no problems with it, flash issue is very rare have to say

they embed flash in their threads, that usually doesn't release memory

firefox just opens a separate flash process, and lets flash be bad on its own

I have only used firefox aurora & chrome for a few years, I use both daily.. haven't used regular firefox for a long time.. rarely use opera

It's a bit like German, but I still can't understand two of the titles.

As a As3.0 developer I hate chrome for creating there own version of Adobe flashplayer. They won't use the official version -_-

I read it had something to do with their sandbox per tab.. and flash was( as it always has been) the biggest security hole in web

anyway, sorry you do As3.0 stuff, I really don't like any as :spot:

can't wait till html5 is full and out there

You have to go a bad way when you want to go web develop mode. In my opinion as3.0 is less bad then html 5. At least I don't want to kill anyone off the as3.0 devs. Can't say the same about the w3c… My as3.0 components look the same in every browser, perform the same and don't contain any "hacks". I agree that the way it is implemented into browsers causes security issues. This however is also related how active content is run according to the (retarded) web model.

Also As3.0 is my main language since it came out, so I already use it for a while. Note that the flex SDK is opensource and is free to use. Just adobe their IDE costs money. Their business model is so nice imo.

MasterBB, do you know any as2.0? I'm using Flash, and I want to make a button, but I don't know how.

I do know as2.0. PM me or/and create a thread if you want help with it. Include information what part of the button doesn't work or is confusing you.

You're welcome to post here, I welcome off topic discussion! If everything in the world stayed on topic we wouldn't have progressed very far in.. anything

MasterBB, what would I use to make a button to click play? I know you have to have a symbol, but it's something like 'Button.Symbolhere.Play', right?
