smart will not ope i tried different scripts and tried waiting its been 14 hours of trying to open smart once and its not opening can anyone help me open it at all?

Update SRL, or re-install simba, should work fine.

Try right clicking and running as administrator.
It would help if you opened the debug box and posted a screenshot of it after trying to run a script.

no error or anything just wont open smart

Make sure the script is is Defining SMART(8)

I'm talking about the black background white text debug Window, that will have helpful information for people to help you with. Post a picture of it.

It's a part of simba not the OS.
I'll help more by posting a picture of it when I get home.

There's a button on simba that looks like a black square.
Click it to toggle the debug window on or off.
Toggle it on, press play on a script, wait 5 minutes, and then post is a screenshot of the window.

afaik the console is unique to windows, so he wont get it on a mac even on wine and it wont work on linux with wine either unless he launches simba from the terminal itself

I never knew that, very interesting!
I thought everyone got the console. (Even with wine they don't get it though?!)

Wine they get it.. but wine is pretty much running a bunch of windows crap including the simba install, so doesn't count

didn't know this ran on OS X now, will have to try it out

not even a terminal for OS X though?
