Just after seeing this thread, seeing how ignorant the users are, im going to bot the shit out of this "private server"


A few ignorant statements by the users of 2006scape:

"mod steve took out 500 botters in pre alpha"<— how did he take out 500 botters in pre-alpha if not even 500 people logged on to pre-alpha at the same time?
"mod steve will be able to stop all the bots"<— no.. just no..
"color bots just use a single color and we can dress up to mess them up"<—Any decent woking script would be using tpa's and dtm's.. even if they didn't it's called a FAILSAFE.
"ip ban botters"<— takes 5 seconds to change an ip
"they cant solve randoms"<—- RiD bot..
"vault added bot detection system" <— if jagex can hardly detect our bots a doubt this 15 year old as added something any better

Anyway.. just a vent of how dumb they are.. whos with me?

2006 was when I was initially playing. Makes me want to check this 2006scape out.

Remade by a 15 year old, has already been hacked twice, ddos'ed everytime there is a test, going to have same rates as rs.

The second last post is mostly right, except jagex can ban more bots than they do. I think the company that owns them now has set a cap on the number of bot bans/month. Just speculating.

Lol I wish them the best, honestly the people who play 2006scape are from "dark" communities obviously bots will be heavily in use. I wish them the best though; it is a good attempt.

I believe someone made a reflection/injection bot already? Think I saw a picture, but it could have been edited ofcourse. Anyways, I don't think 2006Scape is going to work out well especially since they have already been hacked and ddosed a few times.

Jagex is still worth millions of US Dollars, so technically there's nothing wrong with what he said.

Most likely. some people choose to change ip after getting banned on actual rs because they believe bans are ip related, however I don't think we have much evidence on this but I believe jagex do look at ip's when banning mules.

Either that or ban accounts that made unbalanced trades with the banned account, which I think they can do.

I've never understood why people play on private servers… just play regular rs…
