Well, as is custom in most forums - this is an introductory post just letting you all know a little about myself.

I'm a self-confessed computer nerd, and while I am incredibly new to botting (I have absolutely no prior experience in it, at all) I have been a computer enthusiast for many years and am currently a Higher Education student studying an IT based degree.

While my specialty is 3D Modelling & Animation - I've also dabbled in programming, particularly Visual Basic, Java and Python, and would consider myself a hobbyist in the field. I have come here, not only to partake in the botting community and learn about a whole new field of computing, I've also come to help extend my knowledge on programming as a whole :)

So I hope I'll fit in here, and hope to see you all around ;)

Welcome to SRL! This sounds just like the right place for you, as this site is a great place for learning. Make sure to visit the tutorial section as there's many useful guides there for beginners and great scripters alike. Enjoy your stay! ;)

PS: Also take a look at the rules and regulations to make sure you don't get any accidental infractions. I made that mistake when I first came here :o

Welcome! I wouldnt even consider myself a hobbyist programmer … I have absolutely 0 talent in the area … pretty much all looks like matrix code to me … but I managed to kick out a simply script to grind mud runes which I was proud of :). I am sure you will be spinning circles around most people in no time at all.
