when i try to findobj it dosnt wait for uptext most of the time is there something i/we can do about it

It waits 300ms for uptext to appear which should suffice. Try add a writeln(GetUptext) in the procedure to see if it's getting the desired uptext.

^ I would recommend doing

mmouse(wherevertheobjectis)
wait(500) //just to make sure
writeln(getuptext)

and see what it returns, uptext is dodgy sometimes.
