RSBuddy

As a RuneScape player, you will find that RSBuddy can analyse and assist with your gameplay, share and publish your progress, let you communicate and compete with others, and much, much more.“Much, much more?!” A lot of development at RSBuddy will be community driven: Those who are interested will be able to make use of our various free tools and resources to develop plugins and services for anyone. This will provide a huge open platform for developers to experiment with, which we’re excited about supporting.

Our key aim is to provide this helpful software while maintaining a fair and secure environment for everyone. We've been working with many players and developers to produce our first public release of the client and platform for the first week of December. Today our closed beta testing has extended to our upcoming network, so we’ve opened up some of our forums for discussion.

Guidelines and further announcements on these boards will be developed as we prepare for our release and check out any questions and feedback.

Happy legitting,
The RSBuddy Team

Sounds like it would be a client I'd use while legitting. I'll bet it will be very good especially since Jacmob has been working on it for so long.

Maybe not, but seeing as this Jagex mod was hired to detect & stop botters, what's the chance that this client might be a means of monitoring your computer? I'd use SMART or the normal browser client over this any day. RSBuddy will never land on my computer.

I use the official client for my main and am pretty satisfied with that. I will not be changing any time soon

And potentially face lawsuits? They wouldn't be that stupid. An independent registered company could and would not risk the integrity and image of their company.

Lots of companies monitor computers with their games, to watch for hacks.. blizzard does it with every game, lawsuit? nope

^ Exactly. It's being done day-to-day mate, so what's to stop Jagex?

I agree with this, another thing is when swiftkit got hacked that puts me off using anything other than browser if i really had to (I trust SMART though)
