Hey guys, I never got round to using my fate cards. So is there any suggestions? I haven't gotten my kiln cape tho, and is it true that Nex and Corp no longer drop items if dart is used on them?

Need some advice before they disappear at the end of the year :S

I do believe it works on nex, but you have to have done damage on her first, then use the dart. Otherwise it wouldnt work

Did you do it before or after eoc? If you did it before, then you didnt have to do that.

Yeah probably because of the tagging system.
I haven't use mine either, keeping it until last moment in case there's new best boss release in Dec. Likely to be next year though…

i did mine to get my first fire cape… might use it to do fight kilin but idk if ill ever get around to it

i think i remember hearing somewhere that they would only work on the current bosses… im not 100% sure though

If I were still a member I'd absolutely use them to get a Kiln cape. The caveat there is that the dart only kills Har Aken if it hits his head; hitting the tentacles won't count as a kill.

IIRC with the new combat system you have to tag your opponent before you can dart them, so just hit them once first. Also, I don't think Nex/Corp/ect. give drops if you dart them now. Might as well save it for quest bosses or the Fight Cave/Kiln.

I believe if you tag nex/corp/etc u and then use the dart you get the loot :)

I used it on QBD, made 3M with 4 darts.

Still haven't used mine either. I'm temped by Nex, but haven't ever been to where it is before. In fact, I've hardly ever been to the GWD at all.

Same here, hence I too am not sure if I should do it.

I got the frozen key for Nex but I almost died when I was on the room before his. Is there something that I have to wear so those guys around don't pile me?

IIRC they'll always aggro to you, but wearing the Ancient Ceremonial robes removes the kill count requirement allowing you to mad-dash through.

Thank you soo much. I'm just a noob when it comes to bosses.

So besides Nex, what would you recommend using these on? Don't have high combat or a lot of quests done, so that is a consideration. Have never been to Nex and don't intend to start now.

Wear high crush and range def armour and pray Mage as you run thru that room, as the meleers and rangers don't attack you if your def is high enough. Once you reach the door switch to your ceremonial so you can enter and you're good.

Example of setup please? Would appreciate the help. Especially after EOC changed all the armor, I am no even sure what is good anymore. I just use void for everything

I'm pretty sure bandos/barrows is fine, just make sure you bring food to tank in case, the run isnt too long.

I used all mine on corp before eoc, waste of time really, i made about 500k.

I need to find someone to use my cards for the Fight Kiln, or whatever it is. Therefore I better do that quest…
