Have you ever wanted to be able to sleep less (and script/program more)? If so, then maybe Scheduled Polyphasic or Biphasic sleep could be something for you!
From the Wikipedia article:

Has anyone here tried this before? I remember doing triphasic sleeping back in the day when I was experimenting with lucid dreaming and such, but went back to "normal" sleeping because it was kind of impractical at the time.
I'm wondering if there's anyone else out here who have experimented with this; I know a lot of (if not most) students do this "by themselves" just because they love sleeping but also love being awake at night so they just end up napping on the evening in addition to sleeping at night.
Going to try some new sleep schedule now; beginning today with a 5 hour sleep at night + 2 side naps at 20 minutes each; one after school and before dinner and one 4 hours after that. A grand total of 5 hours and 40 minutes is about the same amount of sleep I get nowadays with a monophasic sleep schedule anyways so we'll see later if I adjust my schedule to become a 4hour+2*20min later on.
My current sleep schedule: (Yellow = Nap, Yellow next to orange: Go to bed/Wake up, Orange: Sleep)
Each slice represents 1 hour, where the full doughnut is 24 hours.

From the Wikipedia article:
Polyphasic sleep, a term […] refers to the practice of sleeping multiple times in a 24-hour period—usually more than two, in contrast to biphasic sleep (twice per day) or monophasic sleep (once per day).
