Any of you guys ever done this, if so what ads should I put?

Yeah why not, though it may get you intro trouble if there is stuff on it that you don't own.(ie. if it's an RS video you can't do it, because jagex didn't give you the right to earn money using its own game)

Do not put the click here to skip video ads, they are the most annoy things ever unless you actually are watching tv shows or something then it's kinda fair enough. xD

I would just put the overlay.

I do overlay and True View its up to you really.
Make sure not to monetize any videos with excessive music that isn't yours (not sure what the exact rule is).

I'm on a form of partnership, all videos I have I monetize, this goes with both my channels.
Just go with the flow

I thought anyone could monetize their videos now? Or at least to be qualified to is pretty damn easy?
Is partnership something different from just being able to monetize or no?

The way I see it is there are 3 stages,

1. Monetisation of ONE video
2. Custom Thumbnails and MULTIPLE Monetisation
3. Full partnership

(This isn't correct, it's only what I've picked up on)

Untrue, if you contact Jagex about monetisation of videos, then they say it is completely fine and that they are glad you are taking more of a community role to do with the game.

Obviously YouTube ignore these things and still doesn't monetise a chunk of my videos, but my recently successful EoC ones have :D

Also, that comment about the stages of YouTube, it seems to be right, I'm now apparently a YouTube partner :p

Yea.. I'm qualified on one of my random gmail accounts that I have never even uploaded youtube vids onto, lol.

I monetize all my RC vids. I don't do the full screen pre-video ad, those are too annoying for me. I've been monetizing my vids for about 2.5 years now and I think I've made a whopping $350. One vids got over 250,000 views :D

Anyone can monetize; I have a couple of my videos eligible.
