So guys.. I have a question for you all ^_^ how do you personally feel about EoC? I dislike the fact it's made RS take a huge step towards being similar to other mmo's… I liked how different it was! But meh :(

The pressing enter before talking was annoying at first, but I usually remember to press it before talking now. I prefer the old cobmat system, but eh, I'll get used to this one.

Agreed, it's driving me nuts!

Lol this was the question I had In mind for [OMTh- Open Minded Thursdays] which I ask a question every now and then only Thursday's..

I tried to play but didn't really do as well as I think I should have so I'm just waiting for a combat bot, then I'll just watch that to get the hang of it myself.

EOC is great because you can finish off the dungeoneering bosses with multiple hits, Especially those bosses which require too much attention or else you get smashed in a second.

I like the system as its something fresh and I didn't like the old system but I don't like how its moved closer to other games.

I haven't had a proper go at it yet, I don't really like how everyone says everything is really easy now though. =/

easy yes, but maximizing performance on the other hand..
for example in f2p as around 90 cb before eoc, I can kill anything in the game (including revs) with a bit of statics without food.

I really enjoy it.
Combat is way more interesting.
It's just just pointing and clicking.
You still can click and attack… OR you could click and press buttons that make your attacks WAY stronger.
It's good.

Dharok for p2p and rune for f2p.

I enjoy how it is easy to kill npcs, but in pking, it gets confusing. I wish they separated the old combat for pking and the new combat for npc killing. Just a thought.

I dislike the loss of screen realestate, I know you can minimise stuff, but still.
However I do like the ability to put spells and stuff on your action bar, so when manually alching or whatever I don't got crazy RSI in one hand :P

Sorry for my slow replies! but I agree with Ixilisi that the bars are FUCKINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG annoying :p

i'm not super enjoying it, but its okay. my biggest problem is i don't understand what to do. i'll learn over time and start enjoying it probably.

I think it is very interesting. Going to take some time to get used to, all I do it spam buttons now. I kinda feel like im playing LoL in a way, right in the middle of a team fight(you will understand if you play lol).

I just tested it. And I really really really liked it. It is amazing. I found my character with full rune at the lesser demons at karamja. Apparently that was were I stopped a year ago. I fought with a few lesser demons and I were completely owned even though I had rune armour and a rune scimitar + 80 def, 80 att, 80 str and 80 hp. Well this was interesting imo. I quickly discovered that you had to range them, and oh boy, what a damage. Just look into the weakness of every NPC and maximize your damage. A funny move I found was equipping mithril arrows while ranging, quickly swap to runite arrows and use your ult. It will now damage so much. Then proceed ranging with mithril arrows.

If you don't like this, no fear, spam your skills till you can use your ultimate, then use momentum. You char will now automatically use your skills every now and then but will also increases it damages. This last for 20 minutes. So 20 minutes of old school runescape!
