33 crimsons in 10 minutes = Around 200 crimsons in 1 hour. Thats 2 times the amount you would get before eoc.
The ~90k profit was just an extra.

Whoa, that's almost the same rate as what I earn at karamja, fishing.

Waterfiends is not about profit, its foor looting charms. Also is 90k in 10 minutes not bad at all.

I think what he means is that after 10minutes he is already out off food and has to rebank.

I think what he is trying to say is that he made 90k in 10 minutes, therefore you can make almost 400-550k per hour there. Also, on top of that, 33 charms in 10 minutes is pretty good.

I went there and every kill I got the fiend dropped a charm. Instead of the 90 c/h rate, it is almost to the 200 c/h now. I dont know if thats how it was before but… That seems nice to me. :)

That's pretty interesting. I'm wondering about rock lobsters though. But either way this is great.

I still need to get charms on my staker, he is 200 combat now. 1 prayer 1 summoning. Botting up some herblore now to do Fairy tale pt 2 and quests for Piety. Then I'll work on a nice summoning level.. :P

Not for me as i have all those skill already 99 - with the old methodes(got the cape 2008) - but for those new guys.

I am wondering how long it would take to max nowadays. Maybe like 150 days?

Which Waterfiend area were you are, might I ask?

What method did you use to kill the waterfiends? I heard that range destroys them.

I took welfare gear to test how it would go.
Royal dhide + dual rune crossbows with barbed bolts. No familar or anything, just brought 5 monkfish. And that was the result ;)

I find it difficult to find a world that has an active obelisk :( The friends chat for the familiarisation is also quite empty :/

Join "hughs horde". It's a pretty good chat. Sometimes there's only a few people in it, sometimes it has a good amount of people in it. It depends. Average is around 10-12 people though. It's enough to get the job done >.<

is it just drop rate or is it kills per hour? I've already had 2 or 3 clue scroll (mediums) and after I obtain one the next kill I got a dragonstone, this was from killing guards

Oh wow! I'm definitely gonna get out there and try and get some charms before its nerfed or something!

I was just trying them out a little while ago, the kills are quite fast with two Rune C'bows. I'm using Elite Void Ranger and some extreme potions.

I always thought the more kills, the more drops. So it's the kills per hour that went up significantly.

Awesome! I wasn't using any potions, but extremes would even speed it up.
And more people have starting using extremes/supers over overloads now cause of the update that lowered the effects of the overloads
