I edited WT-Fakawi's birdtrap script.
It is suggested that you use this script for hunter levels 1-30
This script comes with failsafe recovery, 6 hour timeout, and it should work everywhere. Trap loss shouldn't happen unless there are people around you or if the trap is hidden by a tree for e.g. -so choose your spot carefully.
I didn't add multiple trap support as they are considerably more difficult to match the standards of a single trap support
Updates:
v0.02 - Better trap detection

I see the lack of love to your script… So I shall let you know that it's pretty solid (even only limiting to 1 trap) and it has so far got a scrap account from level 1 to 62 hunter and level 1 to 33 prayer.
And an extremely solid progress report on some Crimson Wagtails:
Manually stopping due to both Botwatch weekend and it's time to test a new script I've been working on.
<============== - Progress Report ===============>
Worked for 30 Hours, 27 Minutes and 43 Seconds
Hunting Level 49
Caught 2444 Birds
XP Gained 232180
Placed 2645 Traps
Missed 175 Times
Picked Up 3 Fallen Traps
Buried 2446 Bones
The only thing I notice is that on rare occasions it can lose a trap permanently (much more common if an area is chosen around other players…) and on average it moves about 1 spot left every hour and a half or so. Pretty slow rate, but over time that could move a player out of the desired area and I didn't notice a failsafe if no birds got in x minutes if that were to happen.
Otherwise (and even with that, that's only constructive criticism), solid work!

Hey slush! What exactly did you alter to my script? I recently updated it for private purposes,and it ran almost without one line of editing.

You may want to try my latest update. It should be completely flawless-with the ability to run for weeks on ends

{$DEFINE SMART8}
I recommend you to get SMART 8 however. SMART 7.2 just leaks memory like a colander

Define SMart8 on Slushpuppy's actual script
and not in SmartParams.
People, there is a reason why there are Tutorials on how to setup SIMBA/SCAR.
It's on the mainpage.
