I am almost always away from my computer when running my bots. I thought it would be cool if I could use a mobile app to my advantage to run and manage my army of bots.
Primary Features
-View lists of bots and available scripts
-Start/stop/pause a bot
-Check up on a bot's status
-Receive instant notifications of any problems, connection issues, etc.
So how will it work?
-The Simba Script: I will create a simba script that is capable of doing various tasks. Such as… Load another script, start a script, reading the error log, check on its status, etc. When the script is running it will ping a url requesting for something to do. If there is something to do then the url will return json data. The script will then decipher that data and perform an action. The script will also send data to the url so that the mobile app may know its current status.
-The Mobile App: I will also create a mobile app out of sencha touch. Basically you log in with an account/username. With that you may send commands to the simba script that you have running.
Ok, thats just the general idea that I have. If you are interested in this please let me know. I am 100% confident that I can create the mobile app and get everything running. Although I am not so confident about coding in simba. If you would like to help with that part, please let me know.
