Currently i think it's not worth the risk of getting perm banned just for a shield's stats.

Claw rushing with Claws + DFS? It should increase the max strength by a bit.

holy moly that's a sweet glitch… apparently Jagex have been making combat in the current game horrible so that everyone welcomes EoC.. haha

Jagex released EoC too fast. That's what happens.
