Its alright for a budget build although that PSU is only bronze certified. I'd go for a gold+ certified PSU if I were you and make sure its from a company with a good reputation.

Yes, certainly aim for a PSU from a company with a good reputation, as power supplies are quick to die. I would recommend doubling the amount of RAM, and with your main storage, make sure the drive is rated at 10,000 RPMs or greater. Which is to say, maybe consider trading some storage space for the faster speeds, as you might find it difficult to fill 3TB.

I don't mind the bronze edition. The reason I got it because it was only like $110 while the gold was around 240. XFX is a brand that has good rep. Their PSU are pretty much rebranded seasonic from what i've heard.

Yeah I was planning on getting more ram. But i'm just afraid that it wouldnt fit in board cause of the D14 is next to the ram slot. 3tb should be fine with me, I find myself storing alot of Anime when I get the time :) i'm getting a 7200 RPM one.

I bought a 600 watt gold cerified PSU from OCZ for like 80-90$. Its sitting under my bed not being used for anything. Theres no way a 850w gold certified PSU would cost 240$. I actually bought my current PSU (Corsair 1200watt gold certified, fully modular) for like 250$.

Then buy two 4GB sticks. I'm telling you, you will regret not getting a drive with faster read/write speeds.

Seasonic makes XFX power supplies.

Also I'd recommend against 10k rpm drives.. no reason to get those, if he has the 3TB seagate he's going to get 200MB/s speeds, which are extremely fast.. because large drives have insanely well build sectors
