I was cleaning out my C drive today, and found this picture in My Documents/Epicbot(Yes, I used to use Epicbot). Why is epicbot taking screenshots of my bank?? LOL

Shutup, this was taken ~5 months ago, just discovered it now. :p

Scripts on RSbots.net, rsbuddy, and pb always took screenshots whenever you would get a really good loot/rare drop, or when you level up, or to take picture of whatever is necessary so it would be easier to report the problem/bug/issue to the developer so they would be able to get it fixed. There are several other reasons.

I had purchased autocluescrollspro from rsbots.net back a year ago when it was the first ever clue scroll bot. The bot took screenshots of every single clue it solved, its loot, my bank, and if it ever got stuck. Nothing wrong really. Never got hacked, nor got suspicious.

Jagex doesnt have time to manually track botters like that, if they did, we would've seen a mass ban from between the summer till now.

Wow that account was like lvl 3. Its way higher now since I last logged in to it last week.
Epicbot always takes screenies in the beginning of script,middle, and end. I know this cause I remember how I saw my folder filled of screenies with less than 5 minute run.

How many pics did it take? And rsbots.net took screenshots for progress, but only one pic every time i run a bot.

It was not that long ago. And I don't think the name can just be used like that, there must be more to it.

Take W1Dicers for example :p

Probably just that really annoying functionality that takes random screenshots when it thinks it needs to but doesn't RSBot used to do that to me and I would have a folder full of like 10000000 images of random stuff that had no use or relevance :P

Yeah it was probably the bot just ran into a problem and took a screeny to try show what happened. xD

Im glad to hear that im not the only one having the same problem with the website. For a moment I did think they had IP Banned me.

So what's the verdict on Epicbot? Do they/did they hack accounts?

Lol, I doubt they will hack anyone, but I don't even use it, so what do I know :D
I only use PB for now, and Simba on occasions :p

No, its just that the page has been like that since 4-5 days ago. I was just asking because I have good rep in there.

I'm not sure about EB to be honest. It's a bit fishy

It takes screenshots when it encounters a problem, maybe it needed to withdraw an item (food?) and that item wasnt in the bank. Some scripters chose to take a ss upon lvlup, shutdown, every 1hour etc.
