Hey, with the EoC coming around, I found this video to be informative and helpful, even more so to scripters. I thought I'd just post it to show the scripters what they can do to make their scripts faster after EoC hits. It basically shows you some new info regarding skilling and how the EoC makes it better and A LOT faster in some cases.

The main points I found in the video are at 3:30, 5:10, and 5:56, so if you're lazy you can skip ahead ;). Here ya go:

No problem, the main points I took from this are that you can basically make 1.4x the xp you made before with the new ability bar in some cases. Like from 63k xp per hour at LRC to 103k per hour, you can drop things now faster than you could with mousekeys. Another thing is the new interface for crafting/using items. Istead of appearing in your chatbox, it appears in the middle of your screen and shows you a lot more detailed info than before. Scripters could utilize this to show current profits/ gp per xp in their proggies ;)

I think botting will be a lil easier for certain things :)

Does this drop method work with Woodcutting as well?

Thanks for sharing this. Will give us more ways to retrieve the item prices (i suppose they are based on GE current price?) and xp.

Seems like all dropping-intensive methods will be much more efficient than others (eg. c2 fishing, lava flow) after eoc

Indeed and Agreed, this is why I think EoC will be nice in some ways. :)

Well not really significant, he is talking about speeding up by 1 tick every lap…only significant to him because he's going for 1bil xp.

That Surge ability could help travelling long distance (resource collecting and banking) a lot though :rolleyes:

I can see myself adding superheat functionality to my miner with this. It's really fast.

Jagex just made it easier for us to bot lol… Tyvm I guess :p

Wow, I feel EoC will be kinda good now..

can any 1 tell me why its so much easier? i cant watch the video went over my internet limit it does not reset untill a few hours before the eoc realise

So instead of using mousekeys to drop items for, say, fishing salmon and trout, you can just hold the '1' button on your keypad to drop instantly. You can get 30k+ more exp doing this.
