I want to hear your oppinions on this topic. personally i think they should because it makes botting slow skills faster for the weekend :) so post below what you think.

I rarely take full advantage of thm anyway, but the 1.2x multiplier is nice :)

Yeah they should because it helps botters reach their goal even faster or cheaper.

I think its helpful to alot of people.. Both in the since of that you will get a bunch of exp, and if you are also trying to make a little profit off of selling random stuff.. its a good time for that too. :)

They will, it is a bonus for the legiters as well.

I think they should, as some skills cost way too much to train and if you ain't a botter or merchant or gamble host. Those skills will be absolutely stupidly slow to train due to the money being needed to train said skill.

I did agility, and because of the lag, laps were taking me about 4x as long, I'd rather have standard xp over half xp.

yeah the lag was what made me hate it. if they do it again they should prepare the servers for the masses. i could hardly log on!

i think its a great idea, keeps the legit players happy.

Personally bonus XP weekends irritated me for a long time, I have played RS since late 2003/early 2004 and I grinded for weeks and weeks and weeks for my 99's gainined most of them pre-bonus xp/easier skilling shit and the addition of them along with other things such as runespan feels like my skills have been heavily cheapened which makes me sad :(!

So in short, no they should stop them!

They'll probably keep doing it so they can advertise their "Get x5 more xp!" to f2p players and make money :D

Bonus Exp weekends are stupid. the multiplier is ok. the X2 to everything is stupid. What about people who can't make it? they lose out so much.
The have to take twice as long to get the same thing. What they should do is kind of like the mad may necklace. Just do something like bonus exp up to 1m with this necklace or something similar…

thats actually a good idea i hadn't thought of. doing more things along the lines of mad may would be good.

Personally I dislike the idea of bonus XP at all as I feel it cheapens the experience of the game and takes away the fun RS grind (even if most of you are botting that grind ;)!)
