Ok, browsing youtube and I found This video. look in the description. they link to a "livestream". If you go to that page then it asks you to enable Java. Obviously a JDB (java drive by) DO NOT LET JAVA RUN!!!! because it will download a keylogger or rat. anyway, he has a few other videos on his channel, and they all link to jdbs

Please report his videos on youtube, and report his links. Thanks!

There are 2147483647 scams on the Internet. We should leave users to practice self-censorship and common sense, as banning these would be like banning bots in RS; infinite loop.

Java integer limit <3
And yea, would be almost impossible, but BMW is right too. Might as well do something, rather than nothing right?
Otherwise no one would be banned on the forums here as well…

Don't worry, I gotchyo back BMWxi!

Yeah, general rule of thumb I guess: Never let java run on a website you just found. They can download things just with that. Also, never download anything from youtube. ever.

Must admit it's very well thought out. If I was a newbie and looked at this a few years ago, wouldn't have a second thought about it being a java drive-by (if I even knew what that was).

I provide links to my websits with extra text documents (As in plain text copy/paste) no need to download.
So if you are smart enough you should not be afraid of all links..

yeah i understand that, glitches/gold generators/ free account list/ password crackers/ all other things which looks easy way to get money which requires download or (send email with password < - this is quite old one(retired??)) anyways, if you search for glitches it NEVER REQUIRES TO DOWNLOAD ENYTHING. < just letting people know, if here is something like glitch you can do that with no downloading stuff.. though. common sense helps here a lot. :D

But maybe not everyone knows that allowing Java to run can download a rat onto your computer. In this example, they never said to download anything, they just said to go to this livestream site(which apparently needed Java enabled). And the video had thousands of views and hundreds of comments, all saying things like when is your next livestream ect. So I bet tons of people got hacked from this.

I think for livestream flash is enough, though.. :D
Anyways good point about Java allowing to act in your pc.

And about bunch of ppl, they can create multiply accounts or have group of ppl related with that "hacking" stuff. and lets say 2 ppl has like 5 accounts that = 10 comments and so on. :) on these kind of situations you shouldn't trust comments as well, at least i don't :D

Especially because they had set comments to only appear once the uploader had OK'd them. "Seems legit" lol
