So what's going to happen when EoC rolls in? I'm guessing skilling won't change and combat just needs to be reworked a bit. What I'm really thinking about is with the EoC, Jagex might do some anti-bot software. But Jagex hasn't really been reliable with their anti-bot measures like botany bay.
Any thoughts? I'm just botting like crazy now till the 20th

lol iv been botting 24/7 useing powerban script s and no ban yet iv got 80 mining on a gold farm acc and im 90+ combat in a account too =)

they'll proplly have some antibot stuff but going on what's happened so far - nothing important will happen. (unless we get html5)

Im not to worried about the update. Combat will change, but most of us will cope with it and figure out how to use it to our advantage. Skilling shouldnt be different at all, but I do expect for some of the scripts to break. For botting software all I have to say is they failed in the past, many times… What will make this any different?

All in all, little will change but Villavu will 'come through in the clutch' as usual. :)

What would HTML5 actually do to simba if it was released alongside? I doubt it will since I would have thought they would be boasting about it. >.<

we would lose smart. and from the pics they showed the html looked alot brighter (different colours)

I presume SMART would be back if Ben manages to release an update, or is the whole idea of it screwed? >.<

If the colours change, wouldn't that be better? As I would think there would be a more range of colours for everything so less false-positives?

I'm no expert but I can only see this effecting SMART (temporarily) in the end. AFAIK Simba will view the screen normally with no problems. :)

Mhm, different colors means we'll have to update quite a few things, but it won't stop us at all. By the way, as far as SMART goes, if there's any person in the world who could get the client back up and running, it's Ben. He's quite clever and I've faith in him. :P

Simply change the Smart URL to: http://www.runescape.com/game.ws?beta=true&j=1

Now you can test making scripts for the Beta which would be quite similar to the real thing :l

Yeah, I went there to train magic because of air blast now costing 0 runes, and it now fights back, actually dealing significant damage :/
