SRL Archive - Banned from RS

Just wondering if it is at all possible to get a perm banned account back? My main was perm banned late 2008 I believe… It's been 4 years you'd think they'd let me have him back… Anyone have any thoughts on this? Everything is so different on the RS website I feel like a complete N00b - any chance Jagex gives banned accounts back now? ;)

I've never been banned but some others have 10 year countdowns until they are unbanned :p

imo, send a email or phone them up. If your over 18 then I'd recommend phoning posing as a parent complaining. Remember reading a good guide about getitng unbanned but can't remember where :/

imo parent help is just you posing as parents.
o and saying your child has a disabilty might help. explain that they didn't understand that what they were doing was wrong but u can ensure it won't happen again.

@Benny - I heard that a while ago from a friend… Anyone have solid proof of this? Was it ever posted on RS forums or did Jagex ever say it themselves? Dunno if I'd pay $20 for a most likely wiped account though, but I'd still like to know if this is possible ;)

I'm guessing you want it back due to certain rares(Scythe, Bunny ears).
They would not be wiped if you were to purchase the account back.

I actually had acc made at 2001 or so and it got banned at 2002 in the end of april or something I made smart iron miner with something like mouserecorder today was something else but basicly recorded ur mouse and played it over again made my mining from 60 to 85 within less then 2 weeks also got banned while easter egg event or after that so like 1 week ago I found my old hard drive and was wondering what do i have in there so i hooked it up to the computer *was old drive from like 1999* (4GB HDD) so i found txt doc from there named runescape I had all my old passwords secret questions e mails etc. wiritten down there so i tried my banned acc it was still banned so i wrote to jagex and told that i decided to come back to runescape and is it possible to unban my acc also wrote him that i ve learned from my mistakes (obs. not otherwize i wouldnt be sitting here in the forum) so like 3 days later i tried to log in again and the ban was lifted and i found over 200 easter eggs on my acc (was lvl 102 acc) also had some other rare items like green and white p hat that cost like 5-10m at 2002 so i sold all rare items i had for total value of 8.9 bils (224 easter eggs within 1 week didnt even crash the price sold all eggs 1m below the avarage price) (58m ea)

so yes you can be unbanned if u ask nicely especially if u ve been banned for like 1-4 years or more

I'm sry buddy but i sold all of the gold for real $ got 3000$ from single buyer who bought all 8.9 bils and actually bought car for it (the car was like 2800$ or something)

but yes thats true story thats what actually happened when I saw the prices of the eggs i was like OMG was jumping around the room i still thought that 10m already is a fortune as it was at 2002 but the 10m is like 500k was back then still im glad i found the hard drive and it worked even had to use ubuntu to boot it up cus windows didnt support ata connector

I had a pure that was banned for auto alching back in 2006. I tried logging in on it every now and then until I basically forgot about the account. Just for laughs I attempted to login on the account like two years ago, and it actually worked. Still had all of my items as well.

Considering whoever is running jagex now are money hungry whores i dont see why they wouldent offer to let you buy back a banned account. Makes perfect sense to me.

I was banned for a good month then emailed them saying I was my father and how my son never botted and it's bullshit that I paid monthly for my sons game and he gets banned for work he did legitimently. They gave me my account with reduced stats but it wasn't badly reduced.

Nice story, although you would have had to have transfered to Runescape 2 which opened in like 2004 or something so you would have missed the cutoff by ~1.5-2 years minimum and therefor only have an account for runescape classic where a phat set is only worth like $300.

Actually believe it or not I had a similar situation as Kriss1993. I had an account banned back in I think it was 06 or 07 for botting. First account I ever made back in 2001. In 2009 I remember they came out with that "second chance" thing for perm banned accounts where after a certain amount of time you could appeal an offense again. So I did, pretty much my appeal was long and the point of it was that back when this offense happened I was young and stupid, not taking into account the risk involved. Said I grew up and decided to get into the game again hoping I could get my first ever account back.

It was obviously longer and more detailed than that, but that was the jist of it. Needless to say they accepted it and I still have the account to this day. So it's always worth a shot imo.

Email wouldn't be the best option, I emailed them about my account being hacked and they took 4 months to reply but I guess it's the only option, will research it for you

For my situation, personally I didn't email them. I just noticed my offence was appealable again so I did that. If someone wants to see my exact appeal pm me and I'll copy and paste it.

Lul, some of these stories actually made me laugh and see the extent that some peoples would go for pixels. Although, i'm actually considering doing this myself :/.

I sent them an email pretending to be a parent for an account that was banned in 2006 and they replied with its going to stay that way. Made it quite elaborate too.

I guess for those it worked for they had a mod that was either very gullable or in a good mood.

All i can say is everything is possible. I got my account banned in 2009 august..it had 10 99s and alot cash. So in 2012 i sent em email..i was just talking some random shit to them and got emailed back day after that. Jagex mod responded that they wont give my acc back and the account status will stay like that. Then like 3 months later i decided to send them email again. This time i was talking a truth..everything what happened, what bot i used, how many lvls i gained,why i started to bot, a lil history about my account and stuff like that…no lies. 1 week later i tried randomly log into my account and voilaaa im unbanned..

wow.. I told them truth that i got scammed in 2004 and scammer used bots on my account till it got banned. I found my really old recs and appealed but not unbanned.

Lol, theres always a chance. My friend got banned for botting right before the release of RS2 (perm ban) and waited awhile and he got it appealed saying RS was his life and he would die without it or some crap. Funniest part was he was actually playing legit but because his account was at full marks, this stupid shit got him banned. (said he was avoiding the censor and some little wannabe player mod reported like a twat)

Same thing happened it me actually. I got banned back in classic in like 01 or 02 on my main for botting in legends guild with the scorpions. Well after that I made my pure my main and didnt think much about it. The ban was lifted a few years back but I had no items and my friends list was gone. I was dissappointed and do not even play him anymore

i have one account banned for nothing. It has rares in bank but i can't appeal :(
