The panic and dumping of items has begun thanks to the announcement of the EOC.
Note: This is only a list of what I have written from the activity on the GE and the Forums. Buy/Sell at your own risk. If you can flip well, this week and the following week are basically your "time to shine" chances to make a lot of money because of dumpers. This list should increase, As I will add more soon. If you have any suggestions/Items, please post.
If you have no Idea about how to Flip, then stay awayfrom these items.
If you know how to flip, then today is your lucky, as you have found the haven for making money right this instance.
Crashing/Expected to Crash Items
All Nex Armour
The special boosting hp effect with the whole set of nex armours is NOT special anymore since it NO LONGER gives that Hp boost.
Dragon claws
(Going for as low as 5-8m each on the GE/Forums. GE Med price is 13m)
Saradomin Swords
You can train any melee skill, regardless of whether it is in Slash/Crush/Stab/etc mode.
God Books/Pages/Mage Book
More god books will be released, there will be less demand for the current ones.
Vesta Longsword/Corrupt Vesta Longsword
It is losing its special effect, the epic stab special. Renders it useless.
Red Chinchompas
(Bots, especially goldfarmers are dumping so many red chins into the market. Demand is not keeping up with the massive supply.
Spirit Shields/Sigils( DIVINE, ELYSIAN, SPECTRAL)
These will all crash. Jagex announced back in June that their special abilities will be removed, but Arcanes remain unaffected. Divines are going as low as 100m gp below the market price.
Bandos Armour (Chest/Tassys/Boots)
These are crashing, as dharoks is much cheaper, and are similar in the stats. There are much better alternatives that cost way cheaper than Bandos.
Saradomin Brews + Super Restores
These do not heal much lifepoints/affect the amount to be gained as it used to. Leads to less demand for the Super Restores.
Glaviens/Steadfasts
Too overpriced at the moment, all 3 boots will have same bonuses regardless of what combat style you use.


Rising Items/Expected to Rise
Rocktails
Heal much more in the EOC
Barrows, especially Dharoks
Dharoks will become the "new bandos" because of its boosting effects and low cost.
Arcane Spirit Shields/Sigil
They are being unaffected/getting a boost with the EOC, rest of the spirit shields are crashing.
Ragefire Boots
These will not be affected if worn with the wrong combat style. EX: Wearing ragefires for Melee or Range will still give the same bonus if you were to wear glaviens or steadfasts. Those two are crashing.
Royal Cross bow + Royal Bolts
Royal bow is getting a huge boost in EOC.
Royal Bolts have a strength bonus of 125 and can be used by any bow in eoc.
Warriors Ring
Will be the best non-imbued melee ring in EOC.
Full Verac + Akrisae + Karils Armour
Full Akrisae's (basically Ahrims with a heavy prayer bonus.)
Full Karil's (Equal to armadyl in stats but far, far cheaper.)
Full Verac (Huge prayer bonus, same stats as GWD sets and other barrows sets).
Summer Pies
Heal more than rocktails in EOC!
Master Wand
Will be the best one handed wand in game with lowest requirements in EOC.
Zamorakian Spear
Will have stats equal or around of a godsword
Blue Dragonhide/Blue Dragonleather/Blue dhide items
Blue dragonhide will become FREE TO PLAY = Ton of demand from F2P
Godswords and HILTS

Same, Dharoks is going up alot.
My bank has a lot of skilling items, I basically have nothing except dharoks, royal dhide, and some other low tier armour.

Thanks for this! I was flipping and I saw a big drop in FURY's of about 400k in one hour… :P one hour later there was a big up of about 400k :P so it's obvious there are very many rich people dumping them, because they're in panic :) :) :)

I hope this will stay so because despite of the losses i made with fury, a lot of other items flip very well :)

No Problem! :) And this is actually the perfect time to flip. I've been flipping divines. Bought one for 290m, sold it for 310m in a matter of minutes. :P

Do you also have a list of new items? I'm interested in this becuase I like to know if there will be more items to flip. I have only about 15 good flippable items and that's not enough for 4 hours.

What I really would like to know: About how many new items will be there with EOC in price ranging from 2m-20m, AND: Will the 4hour-limits of all the new armour/weapons be 10, 100 or 2 or even 1?

There are TONS of people dumping items there as well. Add them ingame/ post on their thread, and make money ;)

Luckily I converted my bank into rates a month ago when I lost members :pHopefully rated skyrocket and everything else crashes.

But obviously overall items will CRASH , because most people will be SAVING money for the NEW Items! That makes sense? Or will there also be items disappearing?

New items will come out, They havent mentioned about any items disappearing. New Robes/God books/Etc will be coming out as far as i know.

Hmm, thanks for the advice, but I have not that much money left to buy claws since I spent it all on other investments. WOuld rocktails be a good investment since they heal more in EoC?

Np, but you mentioned up there that Bandos is no longer special because Dharoks has around the same stats. So would it be good to sell my Bandos and buy Dharok?

Correct, sell your bandos As soon as you can because Dharoks give about a +400 more boost than Bandos in EOC. And it costs way less as well, so get a hold of dharoks as soon as you can and sell bandos.

Already done :) Great list, I would've been sitting on my butt not knowing wth was going on without it.

flipping with my cash stack hoping to double it in the two weeks. panic is amazing when you know what you're doing.

thanks i appreciate it. flipping today is super easy, turned around 113m profit in like hour and a half. be careful don't do big investment prices are too off from one item to the next. and they're fluctuating every few mins from different people dumping at different prices.

Boo forgot all about EOC, now I am stuck with my Bandos tassies and chestplate. What are they going for atm that I could sell for?

Bandos tasssys/chest is going about 1-4m below their current price.

@ Footy, I think the price of GP will go down if the # of people who stop playing is actually large, wouldnt be a demand after EOC if this happens.

Ditch the arma, stick with royal/Karils.
I added about 6-7 items which are like a MUST HAVE for the EOC.
Added about 2-3 items for a NOT HAVE for the EOC.
Off to sleep. I've made about 250 mil so far, good luck to everyone else who is flipping/stuck selling :P

Lol wow.. if only we could've cashed in on some of these things. I think the EOC coming out in less than 2 weeks was the last thing any of us expected though >.>

Not sure completely about iron crossbows. Your choice to flip or hoard as much as you can. I'll look into this item And get back to you
EDIT: The wiki says iron cbows will remain members on EOC. I think people are just manipulating the item.

IMO it will be about how fast powerbot comes back up as a very high amount of fdk come from their.

i was thinking more of a week long merch but I'm a good flipper so I'll have a look :P

IF you're goin for a week long merch, I would def tell you to get barrows armor sets, akrisae, karils, dharoks or veracs. Do not get the others, as they will be useless in eoc.

How about I give you a comparison to this update with the bot nuke about a year ago.
Bot nuke a year ago: most major bots down or gone for good. Legit players came back to the game, they legit played at common bot spots. Gold steadily went up. Prices of items sky rocketed

there just don't know a good thing when its infront of them! just look at say sof..
no one liked it at first but now I think everyone does.
and if you do still hate it your sir are an idoit. (it helps bring money into the game, maype the fact it makes the game easier you dislike but without the extra money the game would suck and wouldn't be worth playing. Also who hates fr33 st00f? :P)

valid point but a majority of people who say they are going to quit are annoying me.
yes you may dislike eoc and I can see why you dislike it but the game needs to adapt if it want's to be the best in the market.
however I would personally like to have seen eoc being rs3 and keeping rs2 active at the same time.

So I bought 3 ragefires for 9m and selling them for 9.4m was that a good choice?
Also I'm planning on buying an arcane for 70m ish- and merch til EOC hoping that it will rise. thanks for replying =]

So heres whats up. I got Karil, Verac (ALready has Verac), Dharok, and Master Wand (ALready had that too). So should I keep the Verac and Dharok or sell one of them when they rise in price?

If the demand for them is exceptional, (with everyone rushing to buy them), the price should rise a lot over the next few days. However, they will most likely fall a bit closer to the release of EOC as demand goes down.

Once EOC releases, I predict that they will go down a fair bit as everyone starts to do Barrows more often. With combat being a lot easier, and barrows getting buffed, a lot of people are going to do the minigame and thus increase the amount of items in the game.

That makes sense. Well I got my investments and all my armor bought. Looks like I'm just going to bunker down till all this EoC panic dies down.
EDIT: If Barrows armours are so much better in the Beta, I'd expect Jagex to nerf the rates for obtaining them from Barrows.

Verac's and Karil's are going up a good amount atm, Dharok's is actually dropping.

Flip claws if you can. Bought 10 from a guy on the forums for 4m each and then sold for 5.2m each.

I bought some whips they're going up a little bit, also trying buying verac's karil's and ahrim's + ragefires. =)

Rings of recoil, sapphire rings and maybe sapphires because ring of recoil now gives hp exp they should be used a lot for raising hp and not combat lvl. Ice barrage now only uses 2 bloods and 5 waters and ice burst uses 2 deaths and 4 waters so their should be alot of people using deaths and bloods.

Are Rings of Recoil meant to give Constitution XP?

This is probably to do with the way we changed how XP works (now being granted on death instead of on hit). So, not an intentional change, but one we are happy to leave in.





Why were blood/death runes removed from higher levelled spells, is this so more players can afford to cast the spells, making Magic a more open option to people?

Magic was too expensive to cast. All offensive spells had their rune costs reduced to make magic less expensive to train. Additionally the basic Air spells now only cost Air runes to cast, so are free to use when wielding an Air Staff.

Those runes are actually crashing. Im not sure about adding them or stating about how they'll be in more demand, but Im def adding the ring of recoil to the list of rising items.

So do you think that bloods/deaths will drop? I have 100k of each because I bought them over a month ago thinking that they would go up. I was going to sell them now because I thought they were going to lower because of the EOC. Do you suggest I keep them for now though, hoping they'll go up? ;o

The only reason They are dropping now is because goldfarmers are dumping millions of deaths and bloods onto the market.

Or another option could be that new spells may be added to the spellbooks in the EOC. As of right now, I would only flip deaths/bloods, not really hold as an investment for a while at the moment.

Ill consider adding deaths/bloods in the coming week/end of next week. If they become stable but go to their lowest, go for em and pick em. As for now, sell/flip them.

personally the nuke was the biggest event other than ge in my rs time. Yet We haven't actually received the update yet so you'll never know

meh I'm expericenced but I don't make much cause tbh to the more money you have means you have to but less effort in.
so with my pile im making a decent 1m in a hour by just setting my flips up in 5mins. but jakee is making 100m because he can afford the more expensive items and he can buy a lot more of the cheap items at once.

To make big profits via flipping, you're gonna need a good amount of money to start with.
Low starting cash piles -> Cheaper items such as claws/runes
Higher cash piles -> armour sets/bandos/ and eventually to divines/elysians if you can afford them and able to snipe them for a good price.

As of right now, I cant get my hands on divines or elysians anymore. Too many people have started flipping along with me ;) Hopefully the street price is settled soon

I've got a current cash pile of about 75m. I am realy scared of flipping bandos sets etc. with this low amount of cash, I only try merching ragefire boots as they're going up by quit a bit, I also merch the barrow sets you listed.
I'd like to start flipping but i don't want to risk it too much.

I've got a current cash pile of about 75m. I am realy scared of flipping bandos sets etc. with this low amount of cash, I only try merching ragefire boots as they're going up by quit a bit, I also merch the barrow sets you listed.
I'd like to start flipping but i don't want to risk it too much.

Credit isn't necessary, but heres a few reasons i think deaths and bloods will rise atleast in long term so maybe they aren't good for flipping.
Bursting and barraging at rock lobsters or ape atoll skeletons, currently gives you around 400k xp an hour. Staves will do 150% damage. They are adding more spawns everywhere and increasing the spawn rate almost everywhere. But protect from melee will only protect 50% of the damage so skeletons might not work anymore but, rock lobsters can be safe spotted.

Since we don’t have any top-end training creatures in the game yet, players with a very high Combat level will find this 30 level range increased to 50 - at least until we release some bigger training dungeons! The only reason They are dropping now is because goldfarmers are dumping millions of deaths and bloods onto the market.

Or another option could be that new spells may be added to the spellbooks in the EOC. As of right now, I would only flip deaths/bloods, not really hold as an investment for a while at the moment.

Ill consider adding deaths/bloods in the coming week/end of next week. If they become stable but go to their lowest, go for em and pick em. As for now, sell/flip them.

I think either Jagex is doing this personally to manipulate/hide the drastic price declines of items or their database crashed.

Im mixed on the runes market, but bob brings up very good points. If summoning is not nerfed in the eoc, then hold onto the runes.

Strength potions usually spike with release any f2p combat update and they are already at a low price from bxp weekend. buy limit is only 1k/4hrs

What was wrong with how (e) bolts used to work - crossbows fired rune bolts, rune (e) and below?

The damage of these bolts ramps up as they get tipped and enchanted, so the requirement ramps up alongside it. Currently we have no lvl 60 and lvl 70 crossbow capable of firing these bolts so I can understand how it would feel odd having the requirements there. However, we fully intend on releasing crossbows in this tier so that those who do not have chaotics can use the bolts.

What about mitril arrows? They are 23gp each atm. In eoc only gravite bow can use addy arrows, so it will be mithril for pking.

People are going as high as 90 Mil, street right now is around 70-80Mil

Special Attacks

There are no special attacks in the EoC (they’ve essentially been replaced by abilities) but there has been consistent feedback from yourselves that you like the current special attacks and would like to retain them.

Firstly, in the current beta, God Swords now have passive effects that are similar to their special-attack counterparts.

The list of items and effects as follows. All have a 1/4 chance on hit to do the following:

Armadyl: Increases Attack and Strength stats.
Bandos: Decreases targets defence if they are above a certain base Defence level.
Saradomin: Heals some of your base life and prayer points.
Zamorak: Stuns your target.
Enchanted Excalibur (off-hand): Heals some base life points, which are boosted if the player has completed the elite tasks.

We are going to monitor how these work and potentially add similar passive effects to other items in the future, too.

Yeah, I believe only the AGS and SGS are dropping though, and BGS and ZGS are rising due to their low price. I bought a few ZGS's to short-term merch atm ;), I believe that might be the best GS after EoC is released due to the 1 in 4 chance of it stunning your opponent, those are a lot of stuns over time >.<

I guess so.
Few months of powermining = cause ores to go up
When ores reach a specific point, Im expecting people to stop dropping their ores, and start banking. More people would join and do the same thing, ores will drop, and repeat from powermining. Just my thought.

Bandos warshields don't protect from dragonfire however, so don't expect them to go too high

Another thing, the Blessed Spirit shield has the same stats as the Warshield and is half the price. So that also means the blessed spirit shield is better than the DFS defence wise.

Not sure if I would invest that much into just the fishing sector, I'd eventually spread it around into a mix of items that are going up :) Best of luck to you!

Invest on potions is silly, since you can only get 1000 pot per 4 hours. Try to collect herb ingredients instead.

yeah I bought 5k after I posted. sold em at 50gp loss. not a big loss so idk made it back flipping in 10mins

You still have sapphire rings listed as rising, they've been crashing for a while.

Food items like fish is crashing because of new defensive abilities that heal you.

As a personal aside, I do wish people would stop using the word 'crashing' every time something's price is dropping. Crashing is to dropping as skyrocketing is to rising, and we don't say a price is skyrocketing every time it goes up.

If something's price is currently in free fall, it's perfectly fine to say it's crashing; a change of 2-3% isn't exactly free fall, but everyone treats it like it is. Call me a pedant.
