I never had that problem but i guess sps is inactive, can you add SPS_Debug := True; under the line SPS_Tolerance (press control+f to find it) and rerun?
Btw, I will release a new version today.

Just uploaded a new version: U6. Now you can just do this: TanningItem = 'black'; and it should work for black dragon hides ;) Tell me if it works.
Bides new settings, U6 has an improved tanner finder, better/nicer structure and a few more small edits.If the tanner finder is still not flawless/fast I think I'll have to study advanced TPA stuff but that might take awile :P

I'll make new cordinates for red black and royal to make sure clickbox (aqua color box) is accurate, because I'm afraid else it will missclick after a while ;)
U7 uploaded. Now support all hides and the ones that bugged should be fixed :D

The CheckCoins Fuction doesn't seem to working properly, as it always returns "notenoughcoinsleft" even when i make sure that there are coins in the pouch. (I also tried having coins in pouch, inv, and bank at same time so it had to have coins but still returned "notenoughcoinsleft")
I fixed temporarily by simply taking that function out of the script, and then just check the coins manually. Not sure if its the SRL includes fault or a scripting error, but personally I dont think it is even neccesary, just leave a few mils in the pouch and you'll never run out ;)
One other suggestion would be to add a failsafe to the FindTanner procedure, sometimes it cannot find Ellis, therefore shutting down the script (usually when the camera and Ellis BOTH are facing North) So maybe adding so different "if Find(x, x-x, x, x, x, x, x)"s to help find Ellis if one fails to do so.
The SPS walking has only messed up once for me so far and it may not have been the sps actually i notice the character was standing West of the bank clicking on the rock/cactus thingy (same exact brown/tan/greenish colors as the banker and is shaped like a coinstack lol) Might of been due to sps or maybe it was the OpenBankAK not sure, but i definitelly leaning towards the bank function since it uses the same color as the rock outside when trying to find the banker.
Other than that this script is really great! Thanks for your hardwork on it great job! Ill try to keep posting any errors/bugs that I can to help out. (feel free to pm me, I'm going to keep testing this script)

Edit: Will usually run for 20 min or so before it shuts down due to not being able to find Ellis, (usually when she is right outside the door (hidden) or when she is right north of the table)
P.S sorry for double post….so tired…facepalm

Thank you for testing and posting! :)
CheckCoins checks if you have enough coins to tan all the hides so even if you have enough coins to run many rounds it will refuse, but I don't know if that's the case.
Anyhow, it uses the include GetMoneyPouchAmount which is fancy but not ideal in my opinion because I prefere more 'hardcore' methods for being more reliable. Therefore and as well because there must remain some failsafe to prevent ghostrunning I will replace it.
About FindTanner I'm aware. I find it difficult but I'll work something out.
I guess the third problem is caused because SPS walked off path? Familiar problem which I solved last time by changing SPS_Tolerance. You could try SetSPSTolerance = 800.0;

great script, could you add a bank pin selection to the script
From: mrbott
everything seems to work good until he clicks ellis to tan hides. It scrolls correctly to find the leather but doesn't click it so it just runs back to the bank. version U14. Version U13 is working fine for me. add bank pin to script? or am i not seeing it anywhere
U24 works fine for me =o (> Running: 00:59:30. Items tanned: 1988. Items per hour: 2004.) Are you sure everything is set correctly (coins, hide type, etc) and have you tried a restart? Which hides are you tanning?

Follow up minireview.
Just last night the little thing scurried all the way to the dock west of al kharid and got stuck there for a bit, first "big" problem I've experienced with it. Other than that still working just fine. I'm getting 1800 hides/hour solidly. I think that could easily be improved in the next update regarding the "waits too long at ellis" Vade noted.
TY again and nice script.

Yeah. Ellis really has ants in his pants.
Sorry I can't help you there as I have no idea how to get it do that either. :p
4th time running since the recent update and it's still producing 2k/h leather, average stable runtime before it can't find that squirmy Ellis is about a half hour for me at the moment.

Ok so it ran for about a half hour nice and perfect, one strike of unabletofindellis, then I reset and ran beautifully for another 37:49 before the "scurry over to the docks west of al kharid" again.

Almost an hour solid so far and not one single issue with Ellis. On the first run a couple hours ago, no idea how or why but I think once it opened the bank and did not withdraw hides, came to the tan screen and got stuck because, obviously, there wasn't a thing there to tan.
That's only happened once.
Another great improvement man and thanks again for being on top of the updates like this.
also I was babysitting it for a bit earlier and it scurried towards the docks again, but much to my surprise, it corrected itself and casually walked back to Ellis without a problem. That happened once only as far as I know. :)

No problem. =]
It's been running 98% flawless - I haven't had one issue with finding Ellis yet since the update which is epic.
However, once every 3 to 4 hours it opens the bank, withdraws nothing, walks to Ellis, and the "crafting screen never showed up?" error pops up. =P
EDIT - I just got back to the PC to see that the same error popped up with a full inventory of blue d'hides…

I'll figure something with the bug.
I'm pretty sure the prob is in the SRL option (loc. in text) functions. I'm gonna fully debug it so I can prove where the problem is and hopefully fix it soon. And I'll also make a check and failsafe for the hides.

Could you try another script that uses SPS and tell me if it works?
Edit: To everyone for who the script didn't walk:
Go to the thread > left click the image (under Attachments) (so it enlarges) > right click the image > Save Image As … > etc. (So you saved the image in LARGE form, if you save the image in small form the script won't walk). Where should I exactly put the hides in my bank? could someone post a screenie? :) ty in advance
If it helps at all, I have my bank tabbed, all of my stuff/junk/etc are in tab 2, clothes in tab 3, etc. But I actually have my hides in slot 1 in tab 1 (the tab with the little "infinity" thing on it).
You can set it up in the script around where you place your login info, which bankslot your hides are in, 1 through 50, so any one of those 50 slots will likely be just fine so long as you have the correct slot number specified in the script. :smile:
From: leoneliscool
Where do I put the hides in my bank? and do I have to edit a line of code for it to find my hides?
A screenie would be great :)
The default is bank slot 9. You can change it by editing line TanItemBankSlot := 9;

I've seen it done, it IS possible. The only annoyance with that feature is, of course, with a default "set" price to buy/sell the hides at you may be standing there for a while before anything buys or sells, so lobby/pin support is an absolute must.
Also the crafting screen error is the only one I've been getting lately too so it'll be great to have that fixed.

Thanks for reporting. I know what's causing the problem. Will release a new version soon.
V19 is out. The withdraw bug should be fixed and speeds a bit faster. For the rest only little change of functionality for the script itself but still plenty of improvements, especially to the Tools file.
Edit2: Forgot some settings. Tanner V21 + Tools V9 works.

Hey. I jumped in before you updated to v21… but anyway, as far as v19 goes.
I had a small issue with detecting the tanner guy and had to change the findobjduel to look for the second colour twice in order to get it to work. But the good news is that its working well and looks good. Ill post a better proggy when it finishes.
Thanks
Current proggy:

I had the same issue as mounty but you updated before I could whine about it. :p
Twice, I've still had this happen within the first 40 minutes of running. Maybe I'm doing something wrong??
Only thing I changed while testing was mouse type from 1 to 2.

I'm sorry, tired, making stupid little mistakes :/
@zyrell
I'm not getting that bug but I'm sure it's not your fault because more people have the problem. Anyway, I fixed the fail safe (again) and tested it now, seems good to me. Thanks for reporting again ;] Tell me if it works with V22.

Implemented a rest function so your guy doesn't end up walking a few trip into the script. Working well so far, wondering how I can implement the login feature and let it go past 6hr and do the 6hr fix. I have it implemented into the script, just the problem is actually getting it to work. With the stop function it actually nulls the log in feature and just end's up saying "please log in manually and restart the script". Will continue delving around into adding a log in feature while keeping the stop procedure (need it for a lot of functions in the script) other then that the rest function is getting this script around 2+k hides/hr instead of 1800 that I was getting without resting. Great script!

Make sure you added the map image to SRL file. Without that, it may do that.
@ mounty
Glad you like it :]
@ Darcy_Oner
You probably saved the image in small form instead of the original large form.
(Quote: - Put the file tanning.png in the map Simba\Includes\SPS\img\runescape_other\ You have to download the image in large form. You can do this like this: left click the image (so it enlarges), right click, save as, etc.)
@ Pakyakkistan
Nice. I never used SMART Manager or something but in the Stop procedure you can delete TerminateScript and/or give it something to do before it terminates so it won't stop.

great script man :)
but I got 2 errors in the first 30 mins,
the first one is that it clicks to fast at the tanner, takes the untanned hides back to the bank and stops,
the second one: when banking the script clicked outside the city walls next to the bank and jammed.
keep up the good work ;)

Very nice script, I've ran it for a couple hours with no problems at all.
fudge1212
2012-12-26 18:39:56
The script works very nice.
I just have one problem.
Once it withdraws the hides, the mouse pointer stops where the option -withdraw all but one- was. I have to move the mouse manually, then it initiates the rest of the script and the the rest runs flawlessly. If I don't move it manually then the script stop with -withdraw items failed-.
I did the left click and save image in the normal size. Still presents the above problem.
Found the solution: Where the mouse stopped there was another item in the bank. The description of the item confused the bot i guess ? I made a new tab where the mouse wouldn't interact with other items other than the hides and it works nice.
@ fudge1212
Thats smart. I think I'll solve that issue tho.
@ mrc0x
Ty for the report.
The cause of the first problem is:
Y6 := BoxFound.Y2+4; should be Y6 := BoxFound.Y2+3; in Option.
Second: in what way does it miss? does it click outside the box or too early or something?
Third: I don't know, SPS problem i guess. Does the debug say anything?
if not ((AmountStored - 28) = Amount) then
Stop('made no hides this run, out of cash or low crafting lvl?');
Isn't meant to be a solution, just a fail safe.
Why use DTM's?
@ mrc0x
In the Tools file find the line
Y6 := BoxFound.Y2+4;
in the function called Option
and change that line to
Y6 := BoxFound.Y2+3;

What are the best hides to tan?
I tanned black dragonhides but they only ended up selling very slightly over the price i bought the for.
Swamp snake hides?

Running 10k Green dhides now. Will post a proggy upon completion.
If the 2k+ hides per hour is correct, it should be soon. :p
EDIT
It seems as though the script stopped running at about the 1 hour mark. I have been afk, so I didn't learn of it until about 2.5 hours later. I thought nothing of it so I restarted it.
The same happened again, but near the 25 minute mark. Here is what was in the debug console…
> Running: 00:23:16. Items tanned: 756. Items per hour: 1949. Report: 1:0 2:0 3:0 4:3 5:0.
> Opening the bank.
> Withdrawing hides.
> Stopping script. Reason: Withdraw items failed. Report: 1:0 2:0 3:0 4:3 5:1.
Successfully executed.
I'm not entirely sure of why it stopped running. If I figure it out, I will edit again.
EDIT2:
I found the solution to the problem by going back one page in the thread *facepalm*
I changed the line in the tools file from
Y6 := BoxFound.Y2+4; to
Y6 := BoxFound.Y2+3;.
Other than this one minor problem, the script seems pretty smooth.
Thank You.

Hi there,
I tryed this script for fews days now. worked pretty well but i got the same withdrawing problem
Stopping script. Reason: Withdraw items failed. Report: 1:0 2:0 3:0 4:12 5:1.
It come at random time between 5 min to 1h30 time of running. Some time he picked the leather but dont go back at the tanner saying the same withdraw error some other time the cursor just wait in the right bottom of my bank before i get the error without taking the leather
edit1: when he stop in the early beginning (5-20 min) it seen to be an item in the cursor path. I just put nothing and he work well for more time.
edit2: Also got a problem when starting smart from this script only, dont know why but it take lot's of time for the checking update before stoping at 70-79% of the check. dont know why but i got this problem after running it a couple of time it's seen pretty random. I tryed to redownload the scrypt and the tool but it does'nt seen to change anything so i just start smart with another scrypt.
edit3: the starting problem is gone i just updated smart to 8.0 and now it work like a charm my error sorry!
I changed the line in the tool option like told in the thread but nothing have changed.
Any idea?
Between thanks alot or the scrypt! I tryed to understand it. I'm beginning out here and i want to learn more about this! :stirthepot:

Great script! My only problem is that it sometimes doesn't withdraw hides… Happens about once every 30 minutes. Idk if it's something im doing but If you could get back to me on that, that would be awesome thanks :)
E: Saw Hacksor's post and tried the change to the tools. Lets see if that works. Will return with proggy if it does!
E2: The script still doesn't run much longer then an hour and a half. Still a problem with withdrawing the hides. But other then that it runs pretty smooth.
Thank you all :]
And sorry for the delay.
New version V30. Tons of updates to the Tanner and Tools file. Done more testing on the Tanner and work on general dev of TopixTools which is why it look so long.

I deleted few lines which the script really doesn't need, makes it work a lot better too.
Lines 162-165:
if not (Trip = 0) then
if not ((ItemCountStored - 28) = ItemCount) then
Stop('Made no hides/out of cash/low crafting lvl?' + Report);
ItemCountStored := ItemCount;

Thanks for pointing that out actually.
The code
if not (Trip = 0) then
if not ((ItemCountStored - 28) = CountItem) then
Stop('Made no hides/out of cash/low crafting lvl?' + Report);
ItemCountStored := CountItem;
should be above
while not Result and CheckRound(CountA, 3) do
begin
instead of under it, for the fail safe to work properly. Now when it's going to re-attempt to withdraw hides it won't mess up the ItemCountStored variable. The reason I'm not deleting is I want to be abs. sure the script will stop if it fails to tan for whatever reason.
Oh and I will apply, someday. Thanks =P

Only thing is, I wish it would click inside the tanners house instead of clicking outside of it then right clicking the tanner to slowly move towards him. Also clicking "tan" is a smidge too fast. But perfect other than that.
Also doesn't seem to calculate "items p/h" correctly, but not a big deal.
Thanks for the great script!

Thanks for reviewing!
You can modify the values for the tan house click coordinates with SPSTannerX and SPSTannerY (I guess you'd want to decrease X a lot and increae Y a little).
General reaction time waits are: 200 ms + Random(100) + Waiter.
This means (randomized) literally 200-5400 ms, but frequently
200-400 ms (inverse exponential relation between wait length and frequency).
Human reaction time is 200ms+.
Time between the tan button and clicking specifically can be changed: TopixTools > BlueButton > Wait(200 + Random(100));
And the calc fails after a while yeah no idea why ^^

Calc fails because your integer is going out of bound.
add/change this in your progress.ยจ
var
Timerun : integer;
Timerun := GetTimeRunning/1000
TanPerhour := Trips * 28 * 3600 / TimeRun // changed this
There's a limit to integer, and you exceeded that.

Hey this is a great script! However I have a problem with tanning regular cowhides. After about 2 minutes or so, it withdraws the cowhides and continuously withdraws more even though my inventory is maxed with cowhides. Then the script stops. I tried restarting and reinstalling multiple times. Can you help me solve this problem? When I was a member, the green hides ran perfectly.

Because I see few people stopping at the same spot before the shop.
@EmoCore
Thanks :]
There is an option (TopixTanner > const > SPSTannerX and SPSTannerY) where you can modify the shop/tanner cords. Also, you can modify the global randomness of the walking (it is currently set to a box of 4x4) (TopixTools > SPSWalkPath > Mous > 4, 4).
In my opinion, such characterization should be left up to the user, and I just make sure everything is undetectable.
The reason for the current cords is, they gave the best performance.
@photodumb
Did you 'Log in manually and restart the script.'?
@uncle
Thanks. If you want I'll give it a test.

thats as good as I can do for a proggy :P
I had to get some hides from collection box, I put them in the bank and it made the script crash so I've had to restart :p
if it's left alone this script is great :) good job,
I think the items per hour might be a bit off though :D

I've got TopixTools in the correct folder yet I am having the same issue.
It had nothing to do with TopixTools, I had to change references to "Smart" to "Smart8" in BOTH scripts that are loaded
My new issue is getting this thing to run more than an hour without random stops..
I'm back!
I will soon release a new version along with a vastly updated TopixTools, and many more scripts.
This will have no effect on the functionality and undetectability of this script tho (not much room for improv. afaik. :P). /h calc. 'll be fixed tho.
@paladiex
That is indeed not related to TopixTools, but to SMART, tho I've never had that issue.
Could you give me more info about how the random stops appear?
@Aph0tix
Thanks. I suppose those stops are rare? Should be fixed in the new version tho.
If you want to learn how to script I'd wait till the new version of TopixTools, and I can help if you want (IM?).

I guess you were trying to run TopixToolsV18.simba
Do this:
Simba, SRL and SPS need to be up to date.
The file TopixToolsV#.simba needs to be in Simba\Includes\SRL\
The file tanning.png need to be in Simba\Includes\SPS\img\runescape_other\
and then run TopixTannerV31.simba

Did you have the hides in bank slot 9?
I was having a problem with the attachments (didn't upload the image yet, which you are missing).
I'll upload it in a moment.
tehYosh

Yeah, moved the hides to slot 9, even tried a different slot number and changing the line in the script, same result, it withdraws the inventory, and it's like the check fails over the inventory.
Haha thanks for that, thought you forgot something :P
Should be good now :)
Edit-
Is the SoF closed?
tehYosh
2013-07-16 17:28:59
Well I've fixed the problem of it not recognizing where it was, but problem 1 is still an issue, literally just sitting in bank after starting up, withdraws the first load then just goes the following:
Stopping.
Time: 00:00:07.
Withdrawing items for cooking failed.
SMART disabeled.
Stopped.
'
Just from that message and reading earlier, I can only think that it's a problem here, but my knowledge is very limited :(
begin
BankAK;
EmptyInv;
Cords(2, TanItemBankSlot);
if not (ItemStack > 29) then
Stop('No(t enough) items found for tanning in bank slot: ' +
IntToStr(TanItemBankSlot));
Mous(1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 2);
if not Option(3, ['l b', 'but', 'one']) then
Stop('Option false.');
while not Result and Check('Time', 5000, TimeA) do
if (InvLoad = 28) then
Result := True;
if not Result then
Stop('Withdrawing items for cooking failed.');
end;
Sorry for being such a pain. Hope you can tell what's up :)
EDIT: Further update, if I pause SMART, move out of the bank with the full inventory, the script will resume, up until the same point then just end thinking the inventory isn't full, this is with green d'hide if that's any problem either!
I made a small edit to Topix Lib, can you re download it and try?

I've been fiddling with parts in the script trying to find if I can see anything I can change/remove to try and make it a fix for now, if I have any luck I will let you know! :)
First check if your rs graphics settings are on max brightness.
if it already was on brightest:
i edited the line (in Nexz Lib)
if (Count(Outline, 5, 0, 0, XGlob, YGlob, XXGlob, YYGlob) > 0) then
in which 5 is the tolerance of the black color around items, so increasing that number might help
normally this color has zero tolerance so … idk

I was on max brightness, and your other fix has worked for me well, I increased the number to 10, and it worked fine, but did it again soon after, I've chucked it up to 40 now, having no issues as of yet, if I come across anymore I will be sure to let you know!

Hey thanks for updating your script so quickly. This is one of my favorite ones. Right now I am having a problem with the walking procedure back to the Al K bank.
Debug:
Script started.
Error: Out Of Range at line 994
The following DTMs were not freed: [SRL - Lamp bitmap, 1]
The following bitmaps were not freed: [SRL - Mod bitmap, SRL - Admin bitmap, SRL - Flag bitmap, SRL - NavBar Bitmap, SRL - Options Bitmap]
I'm not sure how to fix that and it happens everytime. It gets stuck right south of the furnace. Also the walking to tanner sometimes winds up to north west end of Al k but it wont give me a debug for that.
Also why does SMART need your start procedure to work? I cant get SMART to load without it. It is very well written but seems overkill. What exactly is it doing?

I don't know why these errors happen, SRL stuff, I dont use DTMs and bitmaps.
Will work on the walking later.
The SMART code is because RSReady fails and I needed a diff screen size. The code is copied and edited from SmartParams.simba

ok thanks I wanted to let you know that now with the new Lumbridge thing the player gets divine tears randomly and cannot be deposited in the bank. This will trigger your failsafe for things like fletching bows. I just raised the number to 2. Also your bank amount counter wont count more then two digits so if the item has over a thousand and there is for example 4008 of x it reads 08 then sets off the failsafe for not enough inventory items. Took out the inventory failsafe and put this in:
while ((not State) and (GetSystemTime < (TimeA + 10000))) do
if (InvLoad = 28) then
begin
State := True;
break;
end else
Stop('not enough materials');
I hope you dont mind me giving you some ideas for your script.

Same error here as for Photodumb. Worked only for a few minutes(max 5 mins in a total frame of 1 to 2 hours) before stopping. Also sometimes clicks on Karim(Kebab seller) and stops script unable to find tanner. And sometimes cannot deposit and cannot withdraw errors are also shown. But still better than not botting at all in RS3. :)
PS:I think the player clicks on Kebab seller when player is walking. It happens for me in such situation. No problems when in run mode.

Hey, Nice script, pleased to know its working so soon.
Before RS3, multiple scripts were able to run with just one script.
When I say multiple, I mean all at once, not one after another.
Your script on the other hand pairs up with two screens at once 0.o.
Sometimes it even says it doesn't detect me logged in so it stops in 2 seconds after pressing "Play".
Any ideas?

I have no knowledge in Java scripting but your comments helped. So since I thought walking was the problem just increased what I thought increased the time required for mouse clicks.
Dint know where else to edit just to increase time to tanner Ellis.
But still sometimes "Error: Out Of Range at line 994" pops up.
