I'd like to paint TPA's and such, but without using SMART or SMARTGraphics.
How would one go about this?
What do you wanna draw on?

What do you wanna draw on?
My normal computer screen.
Using Simba to make something, so I dragged the crosshairs over.
it's nothing RS related.
Usually to draw with simba you'd have to draw on a canvas. im not 100% sure you can draw straight on to the desktop with simba

Yes, you have to draw on a canvas.

Simba doesn't allow direct drawing onto another applications device context IIRC (I think Windows also prevents this).
@Nebula: That is for the "Debug Window" (as titled) in both SCAR and Simba, although that tutorial is more oriented to SCAR, so some of the methods may not exist within Simba.

Meh.. Just make an extension/plugin that calls the right WinAPI functions.
GetClientDC
FindWindow
FindWindowEx
Possibly BitBlt too.

Yes, although you would have to invoke calls directly from the Windows API. You would also need to have
AllowSysCalls setting set to
True in the Simba settings menu.

Well just make a transparent canvas over the entire screen and draw on that I'd say.

I had to do the same thing for SilentKeys & SilentMouse in Simba. Luckily I had found Kaitnieks' (or Freddy's?) old source for them in SCAR and converted it to Simba. It works just…buggy(?).
