So, you might be wondering why I am posting this here. I don't even know if this is allowed :P If it isn't could an Admin/Mod please close it, or delete it? Just don't move it please.

The main reason I am keeping this here is so that only JR+ can see my channel. If I let just anyone in on it, I feel like I will receive waaay to much hate.

CoD and Minecraft YT community is massively saturated, so you need to do something to stand out, think of very original video ideas, and get them noticed.

You'd be surprised how important things like tags and your titles are. If you go onto Monetization, then onto Google Adwords, and you'll be able to search keywords, see which ones are being frequently searched, and which ones have high and low competition.

Another big thing is recent news, on my Runescape channel, as small as it is, I get notably more views if I do a video based on an update within the last day, and you can see that traffic is considerably more from searches.

Final thing: networking. Find channels the same sort of size as yours, and group together to grow.

Just make sure you're enjoying it, if you're enjoying something, you're far more likely to produce good content, which, when watched, will create an audience :)

As Richard already said, make sure you're doing what you love. Don't make videos for the sake of others, make them for you. That's the biggest lesson I learned during my YT experience. It makes it incredibly easy to put in your best effort and there will always be someone who respects that. :)

When I first did a CoD video, I recorded audio using the Windows in built sound recorder, and syncing it with the video in Windows Movie Maker :p

Any £15 headset is fine, you don't need to spend stupid money on expensive Blue Yetis or such like. And I'm sure you can't think of a way to get hold of decent editing software ;)

Also, Silent, Sometimes for things like C.O.D, it might be better to do a post-commentary, as the equipment depends on your gaming set up. For things like MineCraft, Live commentaries are fine cause they are on the computer. (Unless you use XBox :P)

Ok guys, this might sound a bit cheesey and corney and a ton of other things that people dislike :p, but if any of you guys see this, and if you are even slightly interested in Call of Duty, Battle Field or MineCraft, Then can you please subscribe?

Machinima are awful partners, you should search around a bit first. IGN have a reasonable reputation, but there are hundreds of companies out there, just make sure you read the contract very thoroughly before signing.

Unfortunately it is very rare to have a situation were everything is the same. Villavu is more friendly and likes to have some rules to moderate the input of members. Would you say the things here to your parents or to your boss? If you wouldn't then there's no need to post it here. Just because one can hide behind a screen doesn't mean that normal society values can be forgotten.

The reason we're not like powerbot is because we don't want to be like them :) Powerbot is there for monetary gain, we're an NPO, here for the community. If you don't like how things are around here, then you can either adapt, or leave.

I've personally found it's better to have "nice" subs, as much as I'd love to be a big popular name in RuneScape videos, the hate that people get must be horrible, although I guess you'd get used to it.
