so who is getting slammed by this? I'm personally a little too far inland to be super effected but we are supposed to see major flooding and they closed my school Monday and Tuesday!

Yup school for me to! As well as other colleges, Harvard, Mit etc. Very nice! Though had to help my parents out with moving things in the BaseMent…That sucks :(

i had to help my dad move a bunch of tables and chairs around in our backyard so they don't smash our windows haha. i feel your pain there.

That must've sucked =/. Yeah around here we hardly ever lose power. Hopefully it stays like that or at least isn't very long.

I just googled this to see what path it's taking. Can anyone tell me if Florida has seen much damage? I have family there and this is the first I've heard of the hurricane…

I'm in central Ohio, we're getting some pretty strong winds here.

Ontario, Canada. We got the high winds going, power outages frequently and a lot of rain. Hopefully no school tomorrow! :)

In your opinion, is Hurricane Sandy positive or negative? I live very very very very very very very very very very far ^ away. But I watch the news. It's so hot here sometimes I wish there was a Hurricane / Typhoon. KEYWORD : Sometimes.

Has to be negative, always. When peoples lives and property is lost, it can't be positive…Unless you have a sadistic side *Cough* like me *Cough*. :D

I know that my credit card machines at work went down all day yesterday because of hurricane Sandy, on our most busy day of the year.
