My Simba.

So ATM my Simba will only open for a short period of time and then close…
I have redownloaded Simba and now I get this error

Exception in script: Plugin(libsmart32) has not been found

I have updated SRL and restarted. I even restarted the computer itself a number of times and repeated the process.. still no working script..
When I try to update SRL, it says its downloading and all that good stuff but at the end says unable to download and received a kill from the updater. So I override the update and the same thing. Restart and try again same scenario.
Why is Simba so stupid! It was working 2 days ago.

Then I finally get it to open for long enough to open a script, get the compiling error, try updating- and the update works! But then I try to compile my script, and simba just shuts down and exits? And now every time I try to open simba it freezes? And this all happens before BXP weekend?

What simba version is it saying your running.

Did you try manually downlaoding the Plugins and putting them in the Folder.

I don't think SImba comes with the Smart v8.0 in the Updater yet so you need to manually get that one.

Also with the freezing and closing did you try deleting the Settings.xml from the Simba main folder.

3 don't have 8.0 i have 7.2
4 trying that now E* That wrecked things even more… now neither of my simbas work at all… they open and the background black box spams numbers and then shuts down…

Open the debug window. the Black Box on the Menubar when simba loads it'll have a version number 991 or 992. Those are the ones you want. Anything else and your hurting.

I highly recommend getting Smart v8.0 I has a lot of fixes and SRL has been adjusted for it iirc.

Its not on the homepage… it just says to download .98 because its just been released… provide with a link for DL?

yeah but I know I have 980… Brak says to get 992 or 991 but I have no idea where to DL them because the search turns up nothing…

1000 is bugged in win 7 and probably some other areas :/ For users I'd advise 991 or 992 as they are stable. :p
