The Basics:
Livid farm is a great and low cost way to train your farming level.
In addition to farming experience, you gain magic, agility, construction, and crafting experience. Livid farm is located north of the lunar bank.


Level Requirements to start Livid Farm minigame:
- Be on the Lunar Spell book (Requires completion of Lunar Diplomacy)
- 60 Farming
- 91 magic to do all activites
- 83 magic for the farm xp activities
- 60 Crafting (Only if you want the craft xp)
- 60 Agility (Only if you want the agil xp)
- 50 Construction (Only if you want the con xp)


Recommended items to play the Livid Farm Minigame
- Mud Staff (Mystic/battlestaff) -> This eliminates the need for water and earth runes
- A LOT of astral runes (Preferably 3k to 200k depending on how long you plan to stay [YOU WILL NEED THESE FOR XP IN each of the skills listed above])
- A LOT of nature runes (Preferably 1.5k to 100k depending on how long you plan to stay[YOU WILL NEED THESE FOR XP IN each of the skills listed above])
- Law runes (You will need these for the agility xp)

Info about the minigame:
- Unlocking all rewards is required for the completionist cape
- This is a semi-popular place for maxed/near-maxed players
- This is a popular place for livid farm bots
- This is pretty simple once you get the hang of it
- Each game session of the farm is 60 seconds long. That means you have to complete the tasks within that amount of time, or else it will reset to a new layout.
- If you fail an activity, you will not waste your runes. You can re attempt or move on.

The tasks + Experience
- Cure plant Diseased Livid
You Gain: 92 farm xp, 20 produce points
Your cost:1 Astral rune
- Fertilize soil
You Gain: 92 farm xp, 20 produce points
Your Cost: 2 nature runes, 3 astral rune
- Convert Lunar Lumber
You Gain: 55 construction xp, 20 points
Your cost: 2 astral, 1 nature
- Bundle 5 livid and deposit
You Gain: 270 crafting xp, 12 produce points
Your Cost: 2 astral rune

Extra activities:
- Energize Pauline
Your Gain: 170 agility xp, 100 produce points
Your cost: 2 law, 1 nature, 3 astral
Note: Use one of these to energize her! 1 of them will randomly be in the dialogue box.

Recommended sequence to do the activities
- Cure the diseased livids
- Fertilize the patches
- Collect lumber, convert, fix the fences
- Collect livid in bin and string them to deposit
- Energize Pauline if she needs energy
- Repeat

Which diseased livid do I select?
These are the locations for the diseased livids, it will be random every round.
1 - One Large stalk
2 - One large stalk, 2 small stalks, closing in each other
3 - Two large stalk, One small stalk, closing in each other
4 - One large stalk, 2 small, spreading away from each other
Just match the selections with each livid location whenever they appear.


Approximate Experience rates/hour
With proper ping and speed, you should gain about
45k magic experience/hour
34k farming experience/hour
13k crafting experience/hour
7k construction experience/hour
6.5k agility experience/hour

Rewards
It will take anywhere from 40-60 hours to unlock all rewards depending on the spells and speed you do


60-99 Farming via livid farm

Level 60 farm: 273,742 xp
Level 99 farm: 13,034,431 XP
Exp in between: 12,760,689 xp
Average xp/hour: 34k xp/hour
Estimated time: About 375 hours, which is 16 days. (Assuming 24/7)
Estimated cost: 49,125,000 GP!
Simple calculator
(XP needed / 34k) x 131k = total cost for runes for livid farm.

Prices changed a lot since I wrote and posted this guide.

Botting farming from 70 - 99 with livid farm took me like 2 weeks, 24/7 nonstop on my maxed main around last december.
Was actually an effort checking on the bot/restarting it lol.

First of all: Nice guide, the layout is amazing making it easy and nice to read.

I've already achieved 99 Farming half legitimately and I do not plan on getting it the legitimate way at all this time. I will be using this script: https://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=107828

What you could/should add is the amount of runes you will need roughly per lets say 100k or 1m experience in Farming. For example: a rule of thumb such as "You will need 7k Astrals and 5k Natures per 100k experience. (Please don't take these for even slight accurate numbers, they were made up).

Other than that I have absolutely nothing to add, amazing guide!

EDIT: I'm aware that we can use this ( https://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=77693 ) calculator to get that info but it'd be easier in my opinion to just be able to do the math yourself with a rule of thumb.

I've already had a go at the Livid Farm and was initially left confused/baffled from the minigame. Eventually I got the hang of it but it sure does take a while to level up Farming!
I do like your estimations at the bottom of the thread though, partially inspired me to make an investment in the near future to a very rewarding 99.

Hey, thanks for the comments

Just want to remind you that the prices for this guide were based on the prices back in 2012 when botting was more frequently used.
The prices of the runes have risen since then, and I haven't updated the OP with the newest calculations.

I never went back to playing this game once I was permanently banned on my completionist main, I'm assuming it might be a bit more pricey, but yet livid should always remain as the most stable way to bot your farming.
