I was browsing around the RS Forums and found this. User made a thread claiming how he lost 650 mil gp without having someone else get on his account. And a Jmod responds… It was a mistake, but supposedly their "anti-cheating team" made a mistake..

So by issue, do they mean botting or rwting?

Im thinking more of rwting/wealth transfers between newly created accounts and others. But it could be botting as well, but his adventure log says he hasnt done much from October 2nd

It's sarcasm, obviously meant that they have fix the 'cheating issue' with his account by removing his wealth.

Good thing I'm so poor, I'll never be suspected of RWT'ing.

I had 100M+ on acc banned for SG, I was just storing the gp in it, 15 day macroing minor ban

It got unbanned and I xferred my cash stack off it right as it got unbanned except 65k, 3 hours later, I got logged and they rolled some levels and stole 45k gp from me =/

PS it got banned because I was actually botting for fruits(xp) n script was more obvious in that mode

lol i bet that guy was embarrased when the jmod said that. he was prob thinkin lets get this resolved maybe a bug or a hack but ahaha nope

No it's wasn't you. After he said the paypal thing he was scared because we traded in the grand exchange and people were there.

Hmm, I've been transferring gold stacks of 10-25mil back and forth between accounts for awhile now (not actually trading the money, but using other methods). I never got rollbacked or anything on my main or my botted accounts. I'd say it's pretty safe if you know what you're doing. I hope their detection actually hasn't improved though.

That sucks, then again I wonder how he got the gold? :P

This happened to a friend of mine recently. He claims that one of his dicer friends loaned him 40m and the dicer got banned for rwt. My friends recieved a 3 day ban and they cleared his bank of 120m. No clue if he is telling the truth or not though.

lol… so you reckon that even if it was just a loan it would of got him cleared?
I doubt it, Jagex properlly had external evidence for something like this (paypal)

I was checking out his adv log, he had a bunch of corporeal beast kills in 1 day. Maybe he got a sigil drop or split or whatever, hid it so it doesnt show on the log, and possibly sold/transferred? Just a thought.

The sad thing is that that is enough for an ok new computer.
