Put the downloaded files into your /Simba/Plugins/ folder (replacing existing copies)?
Not a mac User, but I'd assume that much is similar.
Make sure you have the new Simba to accompany the Smart v8.0.

think i found it but now smart wont open when i try to start it

Did you copy all folders from Smart 8.0 and paste on /Simba/Plugins/ replacing them all with the new one's?

yes the folder only had one file in it but yes i did update the Plugins file on my mac
