It's really hard to find any versions of it online, anyone happen to find any/have any newer ones on their HD?

Anyways… it's not going to be easy AT ALL but let's all get together, think as hard as we can, and continue the legacy of the Little Black Book of RSCheating?

I know a project like this needs to be (kind of) highly organized, but let's just start by spewing out ideas and things (3AM here lolz).

My guess (and I think the next biggest chronological step) would just be to start/continue it with Aryan, and move onward from there.

We could organize it 1st by time period, and under each time period we will hilight the different bots out/how they worked, and any of the big glitches that were abused. (That's pretty much how EvilCowGod did it right?).

So talk about ideas about how it should be organized, what should be included, and even write out some paragraphs/brainstroms of any sections you wish to write/have written.

I know we have experts/oldfags about all kinds of different bots, methods, glitches etc history here. So help out!
As people post more information and ideas regarding structure/things to be included I'll update the OP to be more organized.

More organization, ideas, planning, bla bla, to come, I just had the idea and wanted it out of my head.

Now did SRL start at Saradomin.Net? Or Did it start at villavu?
Did Saradomin.net still focus mainly on Si.Scar (Squiggilo's Include?) and whatever other popular ones were there?

Forgot why that died, but I think Villavu took it's place.

Noo! This is not Villavu specific it's going to be the ENTIRE RS Cheating History!
Although it will be mainly worked on by Villavu users, I'm sure some Mopar/Sythe/etc people could possibly help us out too!

I think we should keep the name The Little Black Book of Runescape Cheating, and just re-write/add on to, or just make a new version start off where EvilCowGod left off. And everyone can be credited :).

I wouldn't think so, it was short lived (I think under 1 year) and not super many people would remember it. It was just kind of a hang out/transition between Kaitnieks and Villavu

I got pretty clear memories from Aryan -> to this day when it come to bots in the play incase you need to fill gaps.
Surely something like this should be continued and passed on to newer and future fellas while some of us oldfolks still remain and remember.

Nice little thread to run across as I stalk the forums (as I do every now and then)! Yes, saradomin.net was a bit short-lived after things got rough over at Kaitnieks, and it helped to bridge the gap to Villavu. I believe it sort of fell apart because of a lack of adoption, and with many other communities popping up trying to serve similar purposes, it was tough for one single site to grab everyone's attention.

It is fun to look back at the history, though! Every now and then, I go to the way back machine and check Kaitnieks out nostalgically. :-)

Yes, I love to check out Villavu – such fond memories. I still occasionally play RS legit, but find it hard to get fully back into the spirit of it all. I've done some messing around with Simba and scripting, but I'm so out of practice (and studying different languages in college) that I just get lost sometimes, haha. I look back and wonder how I managed to do anything back when I was, what, like 13 or 14?

But I'm doing well! I've finished a year of Uni and am taking some time off (didn't really like my Uni), and am doing some traveling. Studying computer engineering in college - no doubt SCAR had a huge impact on that choice! I've still got Pascal listed on my resume, and every now and again I have to explain SCAR to interviewers, haha. Other than that, not a ton I guess! It's been so long, what do I even say?!

How are you doing? You seem to still be pretty active around Villavu. Lots of other older folks still active or mostly been replaced? I wish I had contacts for Bebe or Kane - such pleasant memories! I have my spurts of activity, sometimes I'm quite active, sometimes for months I'm not, but I always lurk and stick around! I don't legit at all and haven't in years. All I know is that some skills are actually faster with the new interface, and random events are gone!

Kane is long gone afaik, but Bebe is still around! She used to post sometimes and often hung out in the IRC channel, wouldn't be too hard to find her. There are a decent handful of old timers you'd remember, Fakawi even pops in every now and then! And I'm sure there are many non-posting lurkers like you too. We also have a great deal of awesome new faces too.

Aw, I'm sorry. :( disliking school is no fun, haha. But you're almost done! Yeah, traveling is definitely a nice break from school, but I've been working for the past three months while I travel, too. I'm excited to go back to school, though.

Oh, I know! I've come across random bits of Java and VB and who knows what, and just been blown away because I can't remember a lick about how to do those things!

That's good to hear you're still around! :) I get bored of playing legit so quickly nowadays… it's fun to run some scripts and watch my accounts grow while I'm off reading or doing something else. I'll definitely be logging in once I get home to check out the new interface and skills and stuff. It's such a huge change for Jagex! Feel a lot more like a World of Warcraft type game now.

Yeah, I haven't heard anything from Kane is years. I have heard that Bebe hangs around every now and then; it'd be nice to reconnect with her. Is the IRC still active at all? Yeah, I've seen some great new people around! It's great to see the tradition continue to grow. :)

This thread didn't get as much attention as I wanted, but I assume a bit more structure and stuff would have helped too. I'm on winter break for about 3 weeks now, maybe I'll try doing something and writing some stuff up.

As someone who just stumbled upon this thread, hope you do :)

Nick sherlock is the farther of botting creating one my very first bots infamous Nicks AutoMiner that was a lot more that just a simple auto miner haha and I would really love that loading screen of his homemade bot playing runescape on his pc
