This is super condensed! When did the moderator correct Romney on his 47% comments, I must have missed that some how? I am pulling an all nighter for an accounting exam tomorrow so that is my excuse for asking you to locate that for me instead of looking it up myself haha! Once I see the moderator's correction I will give my opinions on the debate.

I was generally disappointed that both candidates could not seem to directly answer basically any of the questions that were asked by the people.

Oh ok, I definitely saw that correction. I think she stepped out of line personally. She could have just influenced a bunch of people who will not go do the fact checking themselves.

If you go look at the transcript of what Obama said he never directly refers to the attack in Libya as an act of terror. It took Obama's administration over 3 days to stop saying the attack was a response to the that video about the Islamic faith and refer to it as terrorism.

I think Obama worded his response the day after the attack ingeniously. His sentence of "acts of terror will never shake resolve.." can be used to say he did refer to it as an attack of terror or he could spin it as if he didn't refer specifically to the Libya attack.

Also, calling something an "act of terror" is much different, in my opinion, than saying "an act of terrorism" or "an act carried about by terrorist".

If she is going to inject herself into the debate like that at least correct all of obama's lies instead of taking the side of him when he was wrong yet again.

I am not in Love with either candidate to be honest…. but I can say that in 2008 I not only voted for Obama, I actually also worked for their local campaign…. his message of Hope and Change was very appealling to me and I crossed party lines to work for him in 2008.

That being said…. a lot of what the President said in 2008 has failed to come to pass…. and the overwhelming trend is not good for the average person. Fuel is up, Food is up, Medical care is up, Insurance is up (while they cover less), America seems even more hated than four years ago, our Allies do not seem to trust us as much, our Enemies seem emboldened by our softer power approach, the dollar is falling (still), the Fed is printing money (hey why can't I do that? lol), and the list goes on…..and sadly this results in President Obama losing my vote and handing it to Romney.

I know President Obama says he has a plan to fix this….but that should have been done before…and let us not forget the Democrats controlled Congress until the midterm elections…. so why is he waiting for the second term?

As for Romney, if elected, he better put up or plan to have that moving van there at the White House in 2014.

To BOTH Parties: cut the Partison shiet, I do not care about your party, stop the petty crap….. stop leaning to the right, stop leaning to the left, and get back to the Center….. otherwise I am afraid that this country will break apart and that my children will live in a different country while STILL living in one of the 50 FORMER states of the FORMER USA.

Now lets get back to RS! :)

She never corrected Mitt on the 47%, as Obama was the one who brought it up. She corrected Mitt on his accusations about Obama not saying what was going on across seas. She was with Obama in the rose garden when he called it an act of terror. I think she was in the right, moderators should be aloud to fact check the debatees.

Same. However, it's not near as bad as it was in the 80's. It's gotten a lot better.

He called it an act of terror the day after it happened. It did however take two weeks for the official statement to come out from the White House after a full investigation was conducted.

At the point in time when he made the statement, they didn't know what was going on. Calling it an act of terror was the best way to come across it.

One thing that does piss me off is that Romney tried to accuse Obama's administration of hiding things, especially after we lost 4 Americans. Trying to make a political statement after a national security tragedy is wrong.

Technically they're not suppose to interject, but seeing as she was in an awkward position as she was there, I can over look it. Moderators should be given more power.

======================

In my opinion, the debate was ok. It was a win for the media, not for America.

The best thing to come out of the debate:
