Any opinions? is the build compatible? planning to add to it as i get more money. As for the cooler, i think i'm just gonna use the stock cooler as i have no plans to overclock yet. And does RAM coolers make a massive difference? Did i miss anything? Planning on getting most things from scan.

Looks compatible;
I'd personally switch the GPU for something that's more high def, but it's not like you'll get bad graphics with a $220 GPU. Not too many reviews on the GPU product either (that you choose, so if there's a warranty that might be good).

Other than that, I sure do like the i7 3770k, as I'm sure you'll like it too with that build.

Might also up that PSU by 20/50 if you're thinking about OC'ing down the road, as after marker coolers might be pushy (depending).

Cheers,
Lj

Personally I'd take some other cooler with it. Intel's stock coolers are okay but can be quite noisy.

Ah thanks for the input, what sort of GPU would you advise? i could always get the GPU at the end, intel HD graphics FTW ;)

hmm, ill look into other coolers, any you know to work quite well?

My GPU is a Radeon HD 7850, so afaik, the only advantages with mine would be visual detail and crossfire (dual monitors), while yours would have a higher core clock and require 50w less (min) than my 7850. Imo, it's comes down to what you want in a build.

Idk how much you would spend on a cooler, but I'd take the drastic step from stock to:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608018
($90, but you'd probably never need another fan until your unit(s) die, not to mention the ability for this sucker to handle OC + it looks cool :P)

Coolermaster Hyper 212 is one of the best price/quality coolers.

You are overpaying for the ram, you can easily get 16 gb of good quality RAM for the same price: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9B-1600MHz-Vengeance-Memory/dp/B004RFBIUU/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1350412816&sr=1-1

Cooler Master V8
Coolermaster Hyper 212

other then that pretty much sorted on the build unless someone can point out a improvement?

Personally I would go with an i5, do you feel you really need the i7?

Build's looking great, if you haven't already built it this is a great adjustment.

CPU + MB: Nice choice, since you got the K version and Extreme 4 which is a great MB for overclocking as the others mentioned, perhaps get a Hyper Evo 212?

Your old PSU would be a much more reliable brand than your new one which has many many problems, google it for yourself. OCZ SSD's have driver problems, now I am not biase'd about this (perhaps I am) but what I'm saying is all from previous experience.

P.S - Just make sure the RAM fits in the case, (and the GPU too!)

Goodluck, just built a new computer too and loving it!

For the CPU Cooler, the Hyper 212 is the best performance/dollar.
For the CPU, the 3770k isnt really necessary unless youre doing heavy processing which requires the hyperthreading.
Apart from that, everything seems to be good

Luckily scan didnt have that PSU, so i changed my order to a seasonic…
http://www.scan.co.uk/products/620w-seasonic-bronze-s12ii-620-87-eff-80-plus-bronze-quiet-fan-atx-psu

The reviews seem better, although 30 less W. but it should be fine for my build atm.
Also gonna get a Hyper 212. Pretty much sorted.
