Theoretical languages:

Are there such languages?

For example, if/when Quantum programming becomes plausible for everyday use, are there developed languages concerning this? Or what about ideas/theories concerning the way to go about programming in Quantum programming (general thought out rules that will most likely take place; note this part of the question is more of an under-developed side, as opposed to theorized methods of programming)?

Who knows, perhaps I'm just mumbling and this topic will collect some good ole dust.

4 days worth of dust has been successfully collected.

I don't know what quantum programming is, care to enlighten me?

A quick search yielded at least one: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_programming

Hehe nice photo

I think quantum prog might look something like this link?? I don't know, but would like to know more myself

e: :ninja:'d, but the link Axel posted is also a good link

The way's they word stuff is so complicated and confusing. What's the difference between quantum programming and standard or normal programming?

I am pretty sure you could do quantum commuting in a language we already know but the algorithmic etc. would be far more complex.

With quantum commuting you can have 0's and 1's, in regular programming you can only have 0's or 1's.

I think the idea of quantum mechanics itself are still needed to be studied at the level of visual analysis, in which may better the understandings and applications of it to be used in a quantum-bit (aka, qbits) programming language (aka processors that quantum compute with q-bits).
