Hello SRL Members,

I'm to construct a topic revolving around ideas of Ethics and Coding. Now I don't necessarily aim for full out discussions here, however idea starters or personal insights on the topic would be appreciated.

For example, Code of Ethics from AMC.org, details what general ethics should revolve around source code. Now –> Finding an article online about said ethics and how they interact (for better or worse) with the mentioned article.

Since villavu is an open source community, I figured that this would be a good place to idea search.

Edit2: Would be awkward to some extent to find another class member/even my Prof. through this post (Disclaimer: I'm not cheating -.- I'm looking for others opinions/examples. I still have to construct the paper)

Honestly there should be one rule: Honesty
If you are purely honest with your code, not trying to mask some function that may steal passwords etc. No one will have a problem with you.

I mean if I posted a thread with a script that is a rat, but told you the script I am giving out is a rat. I am sure people would be like "wtf" but no one would be like he is the scum of the earth because he is trying to rat people… where as I am really just showing off a creation I made (which just happens to be a rat, that I have declared and stated it was) (Bad example)
