I'm going to try get the fire cape my stats are

85 attack
85 strength
85 defence
85 prayer
89 magic
75 range

whats the best option to take range/mage?

What equipment would I need?

Any strategies?

Void full + rapier if you know how to switch prayer. Otherwise gano full + rapier, switch to poly staff/SOA for jad and pray ranged. Dreadnip would be useful.

void and polypore staff i think

dont forget to bring some super attk, def, str potions and some prayer for the big boss, just kill the bats fast so they dont suck your prayer dry

Or you could pay someone 3m for it.. Just an idea if you fail

I tried to yesterday the guy was saying 10m I was like no lol, anyone here that can do it? a mod or someone trusted

well here you'd have to be Junior member+ to access the black market..

But there are other forums who have many offering that service for ~3m…

If someone here offers to do it for free, you're not breaking any rules :) I could possibly do it, but I've only successfully killed Jad 4 times, so there are better options I expect :p

If you're really scared of prayer switching/don't trust your internet connection, you could try the flinch method. But realistically, with your stats your could easily do it. It's all about staying calm :)

I havnt tried for the fire cape yet…thats why i done this thread because im thinking about it myself but its much easier if someone experienced does it you know, killing jad 4 times is really good! The thing is i never done quick prayer switch before only from prayer tab

You can't flinch fight cave jad, only those in fight kiln, as there is no suitable spot in fight cave.

Everyone switches prayer from the tab. How do you switch between 2 prayers (or 3 for melee mode) when there is only one quick pray available?

Use Gano + Polypore Staff. It seems to be the easiest option.

cheap method:
initiate helm, black dhide body, initiate legs
rune cbow broad bolts.
fury/glory
book from horror from the deep quest
dragon/rune/snakeskin boots
skill cape/obby cape/avas accumulator (if you have not much bolts)
and food pot is flasks 6 sara brew flasks and the rest is super restore flasks

I got a firecape at 78 range lol

Gano + polypore. Fire cape was a breeze at combat 120 with that setup. 80 def/99 mage. Got it on my first try easily. With this setup you also don't need to switch prayer at jad, prot melee and you're good.

I would happily do it for free if you got me to wave 61 with enough supplies. I'd recommend ganodermic armour and storm of armadyl if you have the requirements. If not, then use a polypore staff with about 1.5k charges.

Also, huge shoutout to footballjds who basically gave me the confidence and knowledge to kill jad
