In my civics class, we are doing this simulation, and I've been sued… I'm the Prime minister(this is all Canadian) and I was xfering money from the government to me secretly. Does that break any Canadian laws? Any Idea what I can say in my defense, or maybe a site where I can read up on Canadian laws?
Thanks Guise!

You should post this in the other help forums, lots more people there who may be familiar with law.

Anyway regarding the topic at hand.
This would be called embezzlement and yes it is illegal in Canada.

How you can avoid getting in trouble is by making an argument about what the money is used for ex: school funding etc. Or proving you didn't do it, or actually changing your pay grade and then taking the money (Not sure if that is how it works in canada, but in the USA we can change our pay grade provided we are high enough in the government but we just won't see the pay increase until next election)

Alright, I'll move this to the public section. Done. I can't prove it wasn't me, apparently logs of all trades can be found on the site we are using… I havn't used the money for anything yet, its sitting in my account. Thanks for the advice, I'm sure I'll come up with something…

You have to give money to a terrorist group or they threatened to blow you up.
