SRL Archive - S.M.A.R.T.

I'm not sure what to do at this point. I've spent hours reading the forums only to get more confused because there's never a direct answer. So sorry in advance for being a nuisance - the exact thing i don't want to be!!
My first question is about SMARTmanager. Does this thing still exist? By exist i mean does it work? Because i spent hours trying to get it to work only to fail, which was frusterating.
Second question is about an error i get when trying to run a script. it said

Exception in Script: Unable to find file 'ObjectDTM/ObjDTMInclude.simba' used from 'C:\Simba\Scripts\TheCuttingEdge v0.6.simba'

Now obviously i have no idea what this means and couldn't find anything on the forums. How do i fix it? Btw i was just trying to get a script to actually work and this is the one i chose. Its the cutting edge script by Yago. I've tried other scripts and get different errors.
Third question is about SMART V8.0. I have read that you need to copy and paste all the files into the plugins folder within the Simba file. So does that mean i need to delete the ones already in there? Because when i just try to paste it my computer asks if i want to replace the files already there and if i do i get a weird error log and if i don't i get the same error log…. So now i went back to ground zero. All i have is Simba downloaded. The error i posted about the cutting edge is from ground zero also, meaning that i haven't done anything but downloaded Simba and enabled the extensions. I figured it would be best to start fresh… If anyone is even brave enough to attempt to help me, i would greatly appreciate it!!

1. SMARTmanager is now useless/out of date. In scripts that are updated to work with the latest Simba there is a procedure known as SRL_SixHourFix which can do the same as what SMARTmanager did but without needing anything other than Simba.

2. Have a look at the ObjectDTM include thread, you will need to download ObjDTM and enable the plugin.

3. SMART v8.0 - When you "replace" the plugins it automatically over-rides the old ones. You will not need to delete them. The chances are the errors you continue to recieve are from the script. The script quite likely has not been updated to work with the new Simba/SMART combination. If you post the errors I can likely tell you what need to be changed.

Ok so i enabled the ObjectDTM plugin and changed the simba plugins to v.80. Now i get this error

I feel like there is already a solution to this but i cant seem to find it….. I never can find what i'm looking for…

EDIT: if this is supposed to be the problem, http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=88578 , i cant find anything that needs to be changed like he said.

EDIT: Also when i open simba the black box(i dont know the proper name) opens and closes real quick…. then a few seconds later simba comes up but the black box doesn't. Not sure if that means anything.

Try having a search around mate. There is a small change in SmartParams that needs to be made. And also, there will most definitely be some things that need to be changed. Perhaps even in the include at the top of the script where you may have paintsmart.simba instead of smartgraphics.simba

I think im going to give up lol i have spent wayyy too much time on this. It would be helpful if yall could like clear out all the outdated stuff and like make a new updated tutorial on how to do all this stuff. Because thats the main reason i cant figure anything out. Every time i fix somethign or change something i just get a new error. But yea haha thanks for yalls help!

The answers are all there you just need to be prepared to look for them.

If you are absolutely desperate, do a fresh install and add me on MSN/Skype and I can walk you through setting your Simba and SMART up appropriately. Then if absolutely necessary I can show you the things that need to be edited on the script-side.

Although i am not desperate to get it working i would love to see first hand how an expert fixes all these problems! It would actually make my day. So i guess its up to you haha.
