lol when i first started botting a few months ago on my first ever rs account which was made in like 2003/2004 i shared my user and pass :$ luckily no one was around so i quickly spammed it just in case, gave that account to a friend he changed the pass so all good :)

I can't imagine the logic of whoever wrote a script that would have the player type debug info like that. What does it accomplish? :/ Hopefully that was done for a reason that I'm simply over-looking; I'd rather give them the benefit of the doubt.

If the bank wasn't supported, then you would have print in the log or something and have the player log out. =/ I can't see why a bot would type that in the chat and then continue to stay logged in.

Not at all, you'd have to be really dumb to put "Typesend('Banking is not supported')" somewhere in a script.

We always blame powerbot/epicbot for this type of fails but I think this time it was one of our scripts the maybe someone created and it's private..

I think this is a Simba script. Most likely private but tbh, if flight never said anything about debugging, I'd never have noticed that :S
I thought it was just some random thread again lol.

your just too innocent :D, I spotted before I even read any posts :D
I made an account to try to get into botany bay by being reported and not by botting, I stood in the Al-Kharid mine and said:
-Error 2354: Ore Not Found
-Starting Logout Sequence
*gets attacked by scorpion*
-Error 7926: InFight, Logout Failed
-Terminating IronMineV2
-Termination Failed, Player 26 Not Logged Out
-Starting Logout Sequence
-Logout Sequence Successful.
Reported a bunch but not banned lol, I guess Jagex checked and realized I wasn't a bot.
@Flight: Perhaps someone mixed up WriteLn with Typesend lol

Yeah lol they were all like "epicbot? more like failbot, lets report him"
-to which the rest of the mining bots said nothing lol
@Im New Sry:
yeah, luckily jagex now blocks your pass if you say it in chat. You get a message saying "It appears you are trying to say your password. If you are not, please change your password to something less common"
Im New Sry
2012-10-08 16:40:36
Yeah I know, but still, Jagex can easily pick up that kind of behaviour. :D stopped the script right before it wrote my password :D

I think it was a private simba script aswell. We have more learning scripters then most other botting communities. If you're reading this Mr.JennyHo, writeln != Typesend.

Does not equal is !=
if (3 != 4){
System.out.println("The numbers do not match);
}
if (3 == 4){
System.out.println("The numbers do match!");
}
Could use it somewhere in an array to check if things are matching :P But in this case
writeln != Typesend. [/quote it is correct. WriteLn does not equal TypeSend :)
Anyways, looks like someone messed up their script haha :P

Ouch, did it have coordinates for that spot or something?
Or infiltration by jagex :p

Yeah, they probably didn't take it seriously :)
Writeln aside, I can't imagine the circumstance in which a script debugs 'bank not supported'? Shouldn't that just be a comment within the script? Or unless the player tries to set something related to banking (bank pin etc)? It's still pretty weird for a scripter to add something like this instead of just removing all bank related settings. (and comment somewhere that bank is not supported)
Solar

It could be for when trying to find a bank, and depending the location of the bank or type of bank (e.g. chest, booth, deposit box), the scripter might have wanted to say in the debug that the bank is not supported if it cannot find the bank.
