Hi! Does any of the community playing WoW? I started a small project to write a bot on Simba for WoW, and I'm wondering - is there still playing this game.

i recently just started playing again, apparently wow's bot detection is 1 billion times better than jagex. they are pretty good at finding them. but perhaps colour bots arent as detectable?

I played about a month ago, my sub ran out tho. :I

I'm already addicted to one game (runescape) I definitely don't need to be addicted to an already addicting WoW game, so I try my best to stay away xD.

You can bot in WoW with minor problems, people that get banned in WoW are using a bot thats inferior/doesnt have a tripwire, "suicide botting" or bot goldfarming stuff. See the bot as a tool you can use to help you play the game but dont let it totaly play for you

You can safely use the bot in semiautomatic mode. Fishing for example. Bleeding or crafts.

How is this going so far? If I can remember right WASD movements were not possible in Simba right?

For walking you need override key's. WASD => F5-F9 or something

I already have some experience playing this game and this game have several characters and race but you only need to choose one that is better or suit on you.

but if it still matters to Cynic, i also play wow, high level pvp (have glad titles), goldcapped, high level end content raids, etc, etc ;)

also play league of legends at fairly high rank, if anyone wants to know useless info about me

Not entirely true, Warden is actually trash, blizzard just care more

Blizzard games tend to have much better bot detection than Jagex games so whatever bot you make it better has good anti-ban. But anyways I really hope you suceed because IMO SRL needs to be more diverse.

This is a smart spambot, we must keep it and study it :).

i don't personally play WOW but my friend plays it religiously… from what he tells me the bot detection is pretty crazy in it. but anyways best of luck creating this!

I couldn't see a bot for WoW being very successful… I once played for a while and let me say bots don't last long.

Why don't we all bot something like puzzlepirates? :P

Only maybe an auction house bot or such would be viable tho tbh

I've never played WoW thought it looked way to complex with all the key functions and stuff, remember this was before RS turned EoC

In my guild alone there's maybe 10 of us that use a bot for fishing throughout the night generally, and believe me it's viable. On average I grab about 10K a night purely from fishing > selling on the AH.

I will admit though that if you're trying to achieve gold by botting then at least in MoP the best method would be mob grinding (E.G - Shadow turtle spawn).

In wow you can get banned through software detection, check owndcore for whsr adresses and offsets warden is scanning currently. I wouldnt recomend anyone to grind with an accliount they Care for, blizzy keeps an eye on grinders :p

played it for years quit at the end of wotlk now i'm playing private servers

there isnt any panda private servers out is there? plus on topic, you can change the settings to have mouse click to move, that would benifit simba i believe. plus wow is shit at the moment, feels so much more grindy, bring bc back

RuneScape + WoW = No social life

i've botted on wow for probably 200+ hours with honorbuddy, its a really really great bot and works flawlessly all the time :D

Wow Is A Well gay game wayyy to complex but id say simba bots in wow would work well.

I botted 24/7 on wow never got caught, just like runescape however I know many more people who got banned for botting on w0w then rs. Best to play it safe though.

@CynicRus : Do you have anything running yet? I once thought about making an acc there but then again I realised that it would be unbearable to level stuff up manually :p . Tell us more about your progress on it, I might try sth similar in the summer.

wow has gone downhill imo… still have an account with a maxed priest and hunter from cata though

I so want to play wow but its P2P, if like DOD it was F2P i would have surely tried out. I just keep watching trailers and satisfying myself:duh:
