Hello,

I was wondering if there has ever been a Villavu real life meeting and if anyone would participate. I think it would be pretty cool to meet the people that you've seen on the forums so much. Even though I haven't even been here for a year it has been feeling like the longest and best time compared to forums where I've been five years.

Anyways, I was thinking a Dutch real life meeting somewhere. Seems like there are quite a lot Dutch people so yeah. Considering most Dutch people I know here are studying they should all have an "OV-jaarkaart" and can use the public transport for free on weekdays and some other on weekends.

But yeah before mentioning all this stuff, would anyone be interested and has there ever been a meeting before?

That's why I posted it in the members section, don't think we have any radical people in here :bart:

I'm pretty sure several people have met in person before here on villavu. I want to say I read something about that (irl meetings) in the post-your-face-place thread.

If I lived in Europe it might be something I'd be interested in.

However I'm waaaay over in the States :s and not even the east coast.

Fakawi and Wizzup live in the Netherlands, I'm sure there are others too so you could arrange something. For me, it's impossible, everyone is far away from me on the members map.

The only person I know who lives near me is shay…

The company I work for want to send me to the Netherlands fairly soon (even though I'm only 18), I'll let you know where I will be and if anybody lives near by I'll happily meet up.

There have been several meet ups in the past. Normally it is with long time SRLers from the same area. I would suggest you at least know who your meeting pretty well before hand.

Cambridge. I visit Burlington a few times a month, my grandparents live there.
Edit: durr. I thought you lived in burlington. Never been to brampton, but I imagine its pretty nearby to me.

Well I'm not sure how Norway is but without a driving license I don't think I can do too much there, or even get to your place haha. And it's just way to far, let alone my parents allowing me to go there haha.

Anyways, quite a few response now. Yeah WT-Fakawi, Wizzup?, MasterBB & Chris are people living in The Netherlands. Probably some more, just a few that I can remember quickly. Sorry if I forgot anyone haha.

I never really felt the need to meet up with random people from the internet but it would be pretty cool :P

Had I lived anywhere in Europe I'd love to go. Who knows, maybe one day we'll make this happen. ;)
