SRL Archive - Banned from RS

So I was legitting alot for ~2 weeks now and I wonder if any of you guys have been caught or not. Seen a lot of bots lately, and my membership runs out after 3 weeks or so, not sure if I want to risk my account. :P

i havent botted in over 2 weeks im lay low and maby use rid bots after they come back=)

I bot maybe a couple hours a week. I legit(get lit to legit), and test scripts mostly.

I've been running Pb 24/7 (the few scripts that are not broke) and nothing yet!

I think my chances of getting hacked from PB are higher than getting banned from jagex :P

Actually, I bot regularly, but in areas where you don't expect to talk. Also public chat off.
Around 3-4 hours a day. During times that I am awake, so it doesn't look like I play rs all night and day :P

Keeping it on during your regular wake times, and always playing it at that time only, makes it look very humanized.

I haven't botted lately, not because of the updates though. I need to train crafting and there aren't any crafters that bank around, so I'm making one at varrock west. Got the colors and all, but failsafing it will take hours.

was running ashamans ape atoll for the past 4 days pretty much 24/7 now im running totals advance grome about to switch to eskas advance barb too close to max cape to stop now and if i get banned it was a great run

I'm expecting some hot anti-botty action in the next few days or weeks. Botany Bay has been deserted since the first handful of executions which suggests that 'Bot Watch' isn't working yet or the whole thing has been an epic fail.

I think the first sign of trouble will be those claw things coming from out the sky. Once they appear, I will be getting a bit nervous about the randomness of my bots.

When the next System Update happens, you know what to expect!

You got the class file in the bin?
And make sure you're developing the scripts in Java-SE7
If you make the scripts with Java-SE6, they will not appear.

I use only self made scripts. Like right now with my willows script (realtime proggy)

Time Running: 2 hours 59 minutes and 26 seconds
Willows chopped: 1176
EXP gained: 79968

That was a fairly bad xp rate since I got 2 randoms which lasted like an hour. My best xp/hr was 46k/hr for about 4 hours.
Read 1 expert tutorial and I've been scripting well ever since. <3 TPA's.

Botted about 60-70 hours in the last week on a random P2P account I have, none on my main. Nothing has happened yet.

Mines was a compilation of yours (NKN) and Yoho's, though I am pretty sure that I watched some others, for specialized scripting, from MasterBB or someone else.

Where is your Tpa tut? I can't find it?

I was slaying Turoths in the morning and there were a lot of bots, but I didn't even nkte it and they just all dissapeared! And have seem like 1 or 2 later in the day. Is this the bot watch? :o

Based on reports of some usually botted areas being cleared while others remain packed I get the feeling that the initial bot watch heuristics have been targeted at detecting gold farming accounts at specified locations doing certain activities.

I'm still undecided on what player data they are using as input to their detection heuristics. I don't think they are collecting data at the level of mouse clicks and movements etc. because it would be too resource intensive for the amount of players the game has. Modern well written bots are pretty good at looking human in that regard anyway. They have to be using something as heuristic input, and it's not like they are detecting the bot clients wrapping the game because then you'd be hearing of bans left right and center. What do you guys think?

I've been firemaking, so far nothing, but I'm botting cautiously. However there are a few other bots firemaking too.

Been using a public bot 24/7 for ~3 days now. Will see how long it lasts before i get banned. Using a noob account.

Still nothing. You would even think if you failed a random then it would be insta-flagged. It doesn't even seem to be like that.

Sroc garden bots + obvious 24/7 lvl3 goldfarmers are gone from sw, used to be 4-5 per world in the evenings.

Damn if they banned all goldfarmers and adv bots but left bots who train for levels, that would be so awesome :D

I'm starting to think that Jagex are going to do a mass ban some time soon, and right now they are gathering data.
I don't see why they would hype up their new system so much to just ban spammers and just some of the goldfarmers.

I've stopped botting overnight but thats about it.

no ban yet still botting like I normal would I don't bot 24/7 or overnights though

I want to say that Jagex' primary goal is really only the goldfarmers. For the purpose of appeasing the legit players that's enough probably. I am using public/private scripts more or less 24/7 so we will see. :spot:

Botting 24/7 on 4 accounts, using iDungeon on a few others. Haven't changed my behaviour in 4 months, no bans yet.

Any update? I see bots getting banned per announcement at various sites in RS, but not anybody here…

I havn't been botting much, a few hours a week testing scripts, but no bans for me. :)

I've been botting on multiple accounts for 10+ hours a day using a few different scripts without a ban or even a hint of one. We're in the clear atm.

I've started botting properly again, no bans, at least not yet. :)

after thinking for a while I sold all my skilling supplies prepared for 2xpw

i am botting for this double xp :) cant waist it. im on a 2359 totaled main aswell.

i cannot get banned, quitting is the best anti ban for me :)

I stopped botting altogether and "feel" like this weekend was used to get a TON of data but to be totally honest I just dont think they can get color bots.

I botted for 48 hours straight without a break on double xp, and didn't even get a warning.

botted 24/7 (script with breaks) no ban so far

i bot every day 20 hours per day, no bans. Dat pro antiban

Does bans even exist anymore? I'm literally botting 24/7 and just achieved 99 cooking. Should I be happy that I got another 99 or should I be sad how Jagex lied about taking care of bots?

I don't think the average player that uses Simba will ever need to worry about getting banned. Be happy about your 99, it is still an accomplishment. Be sad about Jagex not taking care of bots if you want to, but this kind of inaction is what I've come to expect from them lately. Am I a hypocrite for wanting a "Java-Bot Free" Runescape? Maybe.

I took 2 months off from botting but still managed to get 99 summoning which I am happy about. Now I am trying it again and no bans … I saw some interesting topics is the RS forums about active players/day post bans and EOC. I guess it used to trend around 200k+ players online at any given time a few years ago. It has dropped to about 50k and when I looked last night it was about 60k. Not sure how many of those are legit/bots but I think you can see Jagex is struggling to keep numbers up.

That being said they could be getting 1/2 the amount of daily active players and still be making more money and be more profitable with SOF and Solomon so who knows …

Been botting 247 about 2 months and gained over 200m xp. My account is comp caper and i have 200m's, no bans lol

I've only had 1 ban before, manual ban from a J-Mod (Was a level 3)
