Why do you keep slandering Jagex like that? What did they do to you to make you so mad? Just knock it off, it's not cool and you're not impressive talking trash like that.

I'd personally play manually for a bit and see how the nuke pans out. We can always adapt later on to get past whatever macro detection systems they roll out, but it'd be wise to know what those systems are and how they work. I say just be patient for now, be smart.

I think I'll stop botting for the next few days and just see how things go. It's not like I really need to get another day or so of xp so urgently anyway. I guess I'll just finish up my script and test it on a throwaway account.

I'll stop botting until the update though, because imagine if everyone planned to bot until monday, and Jagex decided to mix things up a little and nuke on Sunday? Just ask yourself whether that extra xp/gp is worth it.

E: and yeah, flight's right. No need to hate on Jagex

E2: Print could you bug me on Monday about fixing your sig. for you? I just remembered and I might forget on Monday :p

Generally yes but what if he was fletching unstrung bows or something that other bots botted into strung bows? Demand could drop.

@kenddy3: I'd give it a go but be careful not to test it with an account you care strongly about.

Monday, I believe. I think the key to a safe script is to do a task that other scripts don't do, or in a place they don't do it. :)

Don't lay low in f2p, higher ban rates - unless you mean not playing

What I find funny is when there's this many threads asking about 1 nuke.

Come on guys. Think about it. If jagex is actually monitoring player behaviour, they'd notice that you just rapidly stopped playing for a shit ton of hours and ban-hammer you.

I guess that shows they're not then, unless they're waiting for the time to ban everyone all at once, in which case stopping now would do no good. I just figured that they meant monitoring general player behaviour such as patterns and using a heatmap and not individual player behaviour like habits ect.

I agree with that, and I personally I have been gradually reducing the number of hours spent on skilling and doing some other stuff like penguins, farming etc.

A drastic difference in playing time before and after nuke seems to be rather suspicious

You could argue that you hated the EoC update and therefore lost interest in playing as much, but tell that to Jagex's policy of not reading macroing appeals.

The true funny part is I wonder how many Jagex workers have accts in here and monitor crap?

I dont bot on my main acct anymore, If I want to make money I just go to gwd. I bot when im away on my noob accts, dump to a few other noob accts through random acts of dying. The best part is being able to trade even on accts that have trade limits. Just using the clanwars "dangerous" portal. Ive traded loads of sara zammy plate boddies etc that way.

I don't think that would really be true. Right now many people are going back to university, or starting university in England. This sort of thing would cause people to stop playing for ridiculous amounts of time.

I haven't botted my main in a month, and stopped botting other accounts two weeks ago. Not planing to begin until there's a huge wave of bans.:garfield:

Well, possibly true, but some who go for 18-20 hours straight and right back to 0 in just 1 day will still be a cause for suspicion. However, that is just my thoughts and a little paranoia since they seem to be going down hard on this one

I'm doing all the novice quests over the next few days, nothing better than doing a few quests when trying to lay low. :D

They're not/can't monitor every player yet, that's what the "bot-watch" system is being released tomorrow for. And they can't ban you for playing less, there could be a ton of other reasons why someone stopped playing a lot (especially on a Monday).

I've stopped botting 1,5 week ago. If the new system will detect bots that easy, I'll just get 2k total and quit. Cba playing legit.
