Hey guys,

after lurking on the RS Forums it seems like there's a lot of action going down and most of the worlds I'm playing on are pretty devoid of bots..

Should I completely stop botting and wait until we figure out whats going on?

I'm still botting lol. I'm doing agility.

Im botting and babysitting it all the time.
Like i posted in a nother thread, If a random comes along I will disable the bot, do the random myself, and continue botting.

Just be carefull.

It is a good time to babysit and interfere when neccesary. Good thing you can type through SMART now :)

ATM, it looks like jagex is getting all the gold farmers. SW is still packed.

I feel pretty safe in my dungeon, but I'm not about to bot anything else.

True that, but SW seems unaffected atm. I have a bot running there and nothing has happened to it.

E: just noticed: 74k users online. Without the update, thats a major sign of a mass ban imo.

I decided to stop botting, I've been suicide botting for the past few days. e.e

I can't decide to bot a few hours every day until 99 fletching, or just go10 hours today and get it…

Well, I stopped botting at the right time. GOP bots on Powerbot client are still running, 42/50k tokens :D when I get 50k tokens I'll exchange everything for talismans, trade it to my mule and then probably suicide bot GOP on them. They are useless anyway :D.

Dang okay I'm still running my main at SW's doing some superheating.. just scared that's all

I am superheating also. Still a lot of ppl fishing in f2p at karamja. This morning the number of ppl has slimmed a lot like there are only like 10 ppl at SW with me so I will go to a more popular world.

I'm cooking at the rogues den for now, and when I reach level 87, I'll bot construction.
I think they're after goldfarmers and autotypers… I don't really think they'll do anything to the people who are using bots to skill yet.
Or possibly at all.

i know its a gold farm method but hopefully they just ban the obv botters like gh12vy12 and botters with obv outfits.

Everyone at the agility courses seems to still be a bot, it does look like spammers and goldfarmers at the minute.

Has anyone checked frost dragons? I'm botting dung on a few accounts atm, and there are clearly others here at Damonheim that are using iDung. Plus I'm still noticing a lot of the Grahkk crafters at the bank.

That is good to hear, they have crashed death prices like mad, and it is getting very very annoying.

Well, I know there are a few people hopping worlds at Red Salamanders. Had someone log in on me, and because of the script it yells to inform me someone is there, they logged in.. and without saying anything he said "report him, its a bot." So I was like "No… im not." and he said "oh sorry, only bots train here.".. then I said "Apparently not, because im not a bot." Then he logged off, and his 2 friends did as well.

This new 'killing off' method is making people hop worlds where known botters are at. Just beware and babysit. I got lucky and caught them. Still going to 24/7 though. :garfield:

Im still doing around 20 hr/day on my level 128 account.

This week is the start of it. Next week Botany Bay and 'some other counter measures' will be grinding into action :/

I was worried because today I kept seeing in the chat box 'the ground beneath you is rumbling' and I was like Oh ****!!!!! Botanny bay for me… then apparently it's a minigame.

I am still relentlessly pounding away at mining myself. I have spotted a couple other botters, but now that you mention it, quite a few less than usual. The iron spots are still at least 1 person per world as always.

I have approx 74 more hours of scripting to do. I don't want to stop. What is the punishment for botting at the moment, a perm ban? or will they still give you a temp ban and a warning?

Hope I haven't been caught then. I'm so close!

I'm still botting but babysitting is key. I say hi to everyone I see and it's about 50/50 if they respond. Better safe then sorry Imo.

im still botting hard im going 12+ hours fletching a day makeing massive 1m exp per day
